Dobson Ranch Golf Course is an enjoyable track suitable for all ages and abilities. The course has generous fairways and large greens. There is an abundance of forestry; not only are there trees lining the fairways but they are also situated throughout, making accuracy top priority. There are also water hazards and bunkers to look out for. Dobson Ranch Golf Course has a reputation for being immaculately kept and consistently being in excellent condition. Great public course
Had heard this was one of the best values in this area of town and was not disappointed. The course is in good shape with fast greens. Best part of the experience was the pace of play. The staff here is serious about regulating the movement on the course and even though they were 100% full for the day, we moved along nicely.

Great
For the value of money and playing in the middle of winter where most courses in Scottsdale are more than $200, Dobson remains a great value. The course is in decent shape, greens definitely have divot holes from people not repairing pitch marks. I enjoy it for a cheaper round.

Fun course and the coolest vibes. Everyone working there was so friendly, I can’t wait to come back and hang out for longer, seems like a really fun place to hang out and swing!
Everyone loves Dobson
Dobson is my local course. I’ve played more than 10 rounds and it never disappoints. Fairways are kept clean and the greens always roll pure, which speaks loudly with how much traffic the place gets. Off-course, it’s gotta be the best in the valley for the open public. Putt putt, watering hole, practice facilities, equipment utilities, fun range area (that’s open late), and so much more. Even a basketball hoop for a post round splash. Prices stay in the median of comparable courses but their SmashPass offers some pretty solid deals. Gotta love Dobson.
Course with great pace of play we
We enjoyed playing with 2 elderly gentlemen . Whom both played quickly.
Charges
I don't think reserving for a friend who doesn't make it should cost me the golf fee. I did have 7 people show up to play. That should be worth something
Great Vibe and Fun Golf
We were impressed with all of then changes Dobson Ranch has made over the years. Great outdoor bar area and driving range. Friendly staff and attentive beverage cart person. I would go back again!
No Sand in Bunkers
Course was very crowded with a promotional tournament being played during the day. This required that we tee off on the back nine 20 minutes late. Fairways need to be watered more often - lot of bare spots - like hitting off dirt. Sand traps are worthless since there is very little sand (course should take the money they are making off the range and and put some sand in the traps).
I like Dobson Ranch but do not see "value" in playing there in the future unless the course spends some money upgrading the fairways and sand traps

Course is in excellent condition, but very disappointed in the prices for drinks. Charging higher prices than top rated courses.
Superb staff
This course is well organized and operated very efficiently. The staff does an incredible job.
