Dobson Ranch Golf Course

We really enjoyed our round here and the course is in great shape. Greens are large , challenging and fast.

The staff on location is very friendly and helpful which is business as usual for this course. The course was in amazing shape and i have played here for 6 years, might be the best shape I have ever seen it.

Always like it here. Course in great shape except bunkers could be better. 4 hr pace so that was good. Staff very friendly . Will play again for right price

Great vibe at the course, good music, and friendly staff. Maverick was awesome he was a huge help!

Was a little slow because there was a tournament in front of us. Fairways were great. And the starter Dennis was at. He made our day very enjoyable.

I booked a tee on golf now as a single as I normally do however, when I arrived I was informed I had been bumped to a later tee time of 30 minutes. Even though I had a confirmation number from GolfNow I was still informed that my tee time was still 30 minutes later than i originally ask for and there was nothing that they would do about it. If I was not happy I could not play and others would be happy to take my spot.

Are we to a point in life where groups of people are worth more than an individual, on a golf course no less? Based on conversations I had through out the day, all people were not a fan of the management. Not the staff, just management.

I rarely leave reviews, but i had to drop a story when i finally had one to tell😂

I was a single teeing off today and driving up from the putting green to the first tee at 12:34, a full five minutes before my tee time at 12:39. As i was driving up to the first tee, one of the staff cart guys yelled my name me asking if i was me, and i said yes, and he immediately drives up to me (I’m maybe 50 feet from the first tee) and starts yelling at me being like “YOU’RE ON THE TEE RIGHT NOW. YOUR ENTIRE GROUP IS THERE. YOU NEED TO BE THERE NOW.

I just simply asked “yes, 12:39 right? my tee time’s not for another five minutes correct?”

“YES BUT YOU NEED TO GO NOW”

Like relax dawg, I’m 50 feet away from the tee box. Safe to say I’ll be able to tee off within 5 minutes😂 i also checked in with the clubhouse over an hour before.

I’ve never talked bad about staff ever before, and overall i had a great time today, but this one was one i simply had to just because of how wild the conversation was.

I posted a near-record-round while using rental clubs. Great merch, great staff, we had a wonderful day!

Our group of 4 with 2 carts felt this was a really fun relaxing time out on your beautiful course. Unfortunately 3/4 way thru the “ranger” stopped to insinuate to us that we were holding up play - this was definitely not the case because there was a group of 4 walkers behind us (that were never waiting for us) and it was obvious to everyone that they were the slower issue. With the ranger telling us to speed up, it turned our pleasant outing into a stressful one especially to our women golfers who immediately decided to skip holes even though we still did not have the foursome on our tails.

Played this course a half dozen times. The fairways are green and the greens are rolling. The staff have made this course a fun place to play. I will be returning.

Forgiving fairways, just The right amount of water. Tricky greens, ample sand in bunkers. Bluetooth stereo in carts. Awesome driving range etc

We are four guys who have traveled from out of state to Phoenix for many years to play four courses in four days. This was our day four and a great find. The course layout allows it to play fast. We were able to tee off 15 minutes early and finished the round in 4 hours and 10 minutes. The course could use a little work around the tee boxes.

It also has a lot of birds that may be creating issues and could use some mitigation. The sand bunkers were in excellent condition and we found them quite often. Greens were not crazy fast and rolled at a moderate pace which we enjoyed. Overall, a great value course in the Phoenix area.
