Dobson Ranch Golf Course

Not sure why YouTube people or ‘pros’ think this place is worth the time or money. Glorified Kokopelli…which is awful as well. That’s it…that’s the review.

For being only April, the course was in bad shape. Lots of bald spots, dead grass or weeds on the fairways. Bunkers were not filled with sand but rather some kind of coarse material. What shape will this course be in the middle of the Summer? I hate to find out

The holes are so mixed together that you have to constantly be alert for balls from other holes. The tee boxes and greens were in poor shape. The rough felt like weeds. A single paired with us said he’d never seen it in such bad shape.

The staff were great and other amenities looked fantastic. The driving range and hanging out areas seemed to get more attention than the actual course.

First time playing Dobson Ranch since 2024 and I’m a little ashamed because this course is a lot of fun! Conditions were good, greens rolled at a good pace, tee boxes in good shape minus some par 3’s but that is what it is. I’ll definitely be back!

This place is incredible! The amenities, the friendly staff, the prices, the vibe literally everything! It was our first time here and we will definitely be back . The staff could not be any nicer or more accommodating. Special shout out to Andrew and Gunner. You guys are awesome!

One of my go to courses. Good layout. Easy to walk.

The staff is super nice always, tons of options in the pro shop for gear, the food at the restaurant is awesome, beverage cart floats around frequently, as far as the course goes they are doing everything they can to keep it in the best shape possible for Arizona golf. The starter is always on point big greens with good sloping make for some challenging pars. Some short par 5s and good luck not being blocked by a tree on 16. Get the ranch pass and find some morning tee times for less than $50.

The course is really dry. Lots of close lies. Ball runs forever due to the dead grass.

This course is a great layout for golfers at all different levels. There is a lot of grass so you don’t lose a lot of balls. The staff is super friendly and the driving range and putting greens are amazing.

Dobson Ranch in nice shape. Fairways pretty good, greens were lightning fast. Had a fun round with great people. Pace of play decent, round in 4:15.

She has the best Shirley temples, and is extremely friendly and always cares about her customers. She always makes my experience at Dobson ranch golf course a BLAST!

The staff were busy but very helpful and friendly from being greeted to the starter. Other than a friendly wave, we had no direct contact with a ranger as he kept his distance when he was doing his rounds.

The layout is interesting with a good mix of difficulty levels. The greens were in fairly good shape with a few non-repaired

ball marks from previous guests. Overall a good value in today’s market.

She is always very kind and sweet. She always makes sure that we are taken care of and frankly I believe she is one of the better bartenders I’ve met.

My playing partner and I both remarked that the fairways are the best we've ever seen. Course overall in great condition. Service was wonderful as always!
