Greens in great shape. fairways good for the most part. Some soft spots between the light rain and over watering.

Watch for continued upgrades from what I hear.

I have played this course for the last three years and this is the best I have ever seen it from tee to green, to include the pro shop and food court. Everyone was friendly, they have brand new gas golf carts and have added small flags to the pins for location. Still some overwatering but the greens are great and will hold your approach shot. For the price can not be beat. Get there and try it.

I haven't played golf in almost six years due to health problems. Someone suggested this course. It was just right for me. I got tired so only played nine holes, but it was nice because of the holes being pretty much straight without hills. Nice course for a beginner or someone like me to start over again. The staff including the maintenance man were very courteous.

what a shame - it used to be an average to ok course 5 years ago when it was Bougainvillea. Now the course is in extremely poor condition, granted it was just re-opened from overseeding. Muddy water sitting all over the cart paths, every hole has huge bare spots which will never grow grass, fairways in terrible shape. The pro shop was very friendly however. Will not be golfing here again. Ever.

The course was not what I was expecting... Dead fairways, horrible sand traps and the greens were terrible to put on. I know they are in the over seeding season, but we did not enjoy the round at all. We are returning in late October and will see if we will return. The only good thing is that the rate was really cheap, so we did not waste too much $$$$$.. Too bad as it was a great day for golfing. The staff was great, the drinks were cold and very affordable.

This course was in terrible shape. Many parts of the fairways had no grass at all. The bunkers were like concrete. Where grass existed, the cuttings were piled up like they were going to bale hay. We had a cheap rate, but it certainly wasn't worth settling for this bad a course.

Several short par 5's and most of the par 3's around 180 from the blues. I enjoyed the course and will be back.

The course was a pleasant surprise. It is in very good shape for this time of the year.

It is a great practice course. Wide fairways with little sand or water it isn't the most difficult but a great course to work on your game.

When it says 6 of each the 6 par 3's are a little misleading as they typically long Par 3's so they aren't really preparing you for other courses unless you hit of the closer tee's.

No coolers on the carts is a downside when you are playing in 115 degrees. $1 Rolling Rocks helped though.

Course has made a great improvement and the greens are very good to play and challenging.

This course is great my son and I always play on this course. He is learning the game and loves it. The staff is awesome treat us really good. Awesome course and fun

Pretty plain jane layout. Wasn't in very good condition.

Fairways and greens fair but the total course is not in the shape it was in before the sale. New owners are not keeping it up like it should be. A lot of dead spots, weeds are taking over and it appears that it is not being mowed very often. At lest not as often as it needs to be. Large clumps of cut grass in the fairways. We have played this course several times over the years and this is the poorest we have ever seen it.
Too bad as it is (was) a nice course and at a reasonable price.

Southern Ridge is nothing short of a hidden gem, If the outer edges of the course were better maintained (unfortunately I find myself in that area quite a bit) and they had GPS availability it would be the best around. They staff was fantastic, very helpful and did all they could to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for a great experience.

Tees and faiways are in great shape. Stay in them. Greens were short and fast. Better bring your A game. We got a round of golf and lunch. I recommend the Tunafish sandwich. This is a fun course with 6 par 3's, 6 par 4's and 6 par 5's. Thinking you'll get a low score? Stay in the fairway and you might. The par 3's are well protected with bunkers. Good sand to come out. Believe me, I know. Par 5's allow you to stretch out a little but be warned, stay in the fairway. The 19th hole had $1 Moosehead draft to allay the scorecard woes.

Course not busy. Took our time and still finished in under 4 hours.

Eh you get what you pay for. Anything over $20 is too much. Good for practice and brining out high handicapper friends. Bunkers are dirt and have a lot of small pebbles in them. These become deadly projectiles and make a funny sound when they hit your buddy in the shin. If your lucky you will land in one of the many fairway grassand bunker. These are old bunkers that have been forgotten about by the staff. It could be possible that the staff do not know that they are there because of all of the grass that has grown inside them. The tee boxes are so hairy that they will eat your tee. You need an extra long tee around 4" or you can tape two normal size ones to make a long one. Or you can just place it on the grass and it will be off the ground at least 3". Yes, I would play here again.

Well for $25 what can you expect! Tees, Fairways and Greens were Good!! If you are in the fairways its Average type course. The majority of the traps are terrible. There is standing water all over the place. Rough is either muddy or completely bare. Water damage is terrible all over the course, This place needs some major maintenance work. Layout is funny. 6 par 4's, par 5.s and par 3's.

Snack/Lunch area is only open till 4pm. Then its only beverage and snacks.

Both the equipment (Golf Cart) and the course were in need of a fair amount of attention!
The small fairways were not bad and the greens were pretty good but anything off of the fairway was very unmaintained and rough! Even the cart paths were in a very bad state. Mud holes and standing water were pretty common. It was not worth the drive or the price.

Course in pretty good shape as long as you keep the ball in play. Awesome deal for the price. Moved right along . 4 hour round.

Tee's and fairways and greens were in good shape, still having trouble with the sprinklers flooding the cart paths. The rough is exactly that, rough. Traps were in all different conditions, some mud, some hard packed, some fluffy. Staff was very friendly.
