About
River Hills Golf and Country Club is in Little River, near North Myrtle Beach, a Tom Jackson product that shows heavily-wooded, rolling terrain with elevation changes as much as 40 feet. Golfers won't encounter parallel fairways, but they will encounter fairways that weave through a series of homes, along with dogwood, maple, live oak, pine and cypress tees. They will also see quite a bit of water, though most of it is lateral.

Great time.
Great course. Friendly staff and Tom at the cart area was great and helpful. Definitely on my list going forward
Slow round

Course was in good shape. Pace of play was great and got paired with two great locals.
Nice Course
I haven’t played the very expensive courses in the area for very long time. Bottom of the courses I’ve played in the last year or two I would rate this slightly higher than crow creek and the Meadowlands. It was a really nice layout. The course was in very good condition. It seems that all of the courses I’ve played in the last couple years have a little bit of a problem with consistent fairways, having small dirt spots in many places. There were less of these dirt spots on River Hills than the other courses I’ve played lately, and they were mostly on hills or places where water collects. I would definitely play it again. The pace of play was about 4:15, which would have been fine, except that I was a single amongst foursomes. Nobody’s fault, but it sure made the round go slow.
Great course layout, greens and fairways are always in great shape. Staff is friendly. Pace of play left alot to be desired though. 4 hours 45 minutes on a Thursday morning. Some holes had 3-4 groups waiting. Tee times every 7-8 minutes, is just too close, in my opinion. Made for long day and not very enjoyable.
Nice course
Family golf outing. We really enjoyed the course. Looking forward to playing it again next time we are in town.
Enjoyable Round
The course is in great shape and the pace of play was fantastic. We rented clubs that were this year's model and the carts were fantastic. Would play here again.

Friendliest pro shop staff on the Strand! Course in great condition, greens and fairways very nice.
One of the best courses in South Carolina
Course is in great shape. Greens are absolutely the best I have played on a while. Staff is amazing. Food at club is off the charts. Great course recommended must play.
