About
The West Course at Eagle Valley Golf Course winds through the Carson City foothills at the base of the Eastern Sierra. The links-style layout features an interesting variety of holes that provide a formidable test for even the most advanced players. The fairways are lined with native desert vegetation that grows tall enough to provide some challenge and several water hazards are strategically placed throughout. The dramatic elevation changes in the rolling landscape also require forced carries. Accuracy is vital to doing well on the golf course, offering a true risk-and-reward experience. For golfers wanting a more relaxed round, Eagle Valley offers the less daunting East Course.

The notice on the 1st tee says it all - effluent water used all over the course. Deep dirty smelly water in many ‘bunkers’, many areas which should be marked ground under repair. Greens were nice. Good layout, but the course has been a bit neglected.
Fun in the desert!
Great course! Hit or miss on the green being smooth, fairways are great.

So, this course is great. It can be challenging, the fairways are well maintained and the bunkers are raked. As for the staff, everyone is wonderful and nice. Everyone is following COVID-19 health standards and I am happy they are.

The course is challenge and fun for all levels of golfers.
It's been awhile since I played this course but I played it a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it. In fact I came back to play it again and it's becoming one of my local favorite courses!

I played Eagle Valley West. The fairways and greens above average.

You can tell these guys were maintaining the course during the closure. Challenging course and the views are great!
Windy but worth it!
During such troubled times it was great to get out and get some air... no pins but greens in great shape considering this time of year...might be called a muni course but I’ve always had battles and challenges whatever the weather...cool seeing these wild horse keeping social distance too ...stay safe !
This course requires target golf. Some greens are very difficult to read accurately
Course is in good shape with many wet spots in the morning. Greens are in good shape but some are difficult to read. Pace of play was brisk. 3 hour round for 3 players.
