About
The West Course at Eagle Valley Golf Course winds through the Carson City foothills at the base of the Eastern Sierra. The links-style layout features an interesting variety of holes that provide a formidable test for even the most advanced players. The fairways are lined with native desert vegetation that grows tall enough to provide some challenge and several water hazards are strategically placed throughout. The dramatic elevation changes in the rolling landscape also require forced carries. Accuracy is vital to doing well on the golf course, offering a true risk-and-reward experience. For golfers wanting a more relaxed round, Eagle Valley offers the less daunting East Course.

You can tell these guys were maintaining the course during the closure. Challenging course and the views are great!
Windy but worth it!
During such troubled times it was great to get out and get some air... no pins but greens in great shape considering this time of year...might be called a muni course but I’ve always had battles and challenges whatever the weather...cool seeing these wild horse keeping social distance too ...stay safe !
This course requires target golf. Some greens are very difficult to read accurately
Course is in good shape with many wet spots in the morning. Greens are in good shape but some are difficult to read. Pace of play was brisk. 3 hour round for 3 players.

Great afternoon
Wonderful Nevada afternoon, pace of play was great. Course was in good shape greens were fast. Labor Day weekend could have asked for a better day. Of the 2 courses this is the most challenging.
Fun and playable
It is a fun course reasonably priced with a good variety of holes. Sage brush lines both side of almost every hole so bring a lot of balls if you hit a lot of crooked tee shots.
My only complaint was the bunkers were widely inconsistent with some as hard as cart paths while some were playable.
It is one of my favorite public courses in the Reno/Carson City area.
Pleasantly surprised
Possibly the best maintained muni course I have ever played. Plush fairways. Great greens. Only drawback was the snack bar- not enough staff to handle special promo that included lunch with the green fees. Otherwise - very good experience.

Great Time
We played the West Course. For a handicap like me it could be challenging, but it was a lot of fun.
Look forward to playing there again next week now That i know the course more.
An excellent course and an excellent value.
I played this course twice while visiting relatives in Carson City, Nevada. This course last a gem of a golf course. Best value and excellent layout and upkeep. I will play this course I come to town.

Golf Course Greens ETC.
Eagle Valley Golf Course is such a great course to play and have tournaments etc. The bunkers are cleanly aligned, fairways are maintained in a very professional manner cleanly cut precise to perfection thus, challenging . This is a huge golf course yet mastered in taking pride and dignity with an awesome crew on call. Shout-out to the team here for being very active and alert in what they do. What a remarkable achievement done by such skilled individuals. I will recommend this course in the proper season to all my fellow friends and family! I shall be back with a crowd and excitement! Keep up the great work and *REMEMBER* You guys are killin' it out here.

Great course, not too hard
Course was in very nice condition. It's not that challenging.
Golf course is in good condition
Greens are in good shape and very sleek. Fairways are also in good shape. We will come back for sure.
