Toiyabe Golf Club

Unfortunately started 45 min late due to frost. Once we got out there though it moved at a nice pace.. Challenging fun course, second time playing, enjoyed it.

This is a challenging and fun course to play and worth the drive out to Washoe Valley. I play here every time I visit Reno. Afternoon wind can make it interesting, but the course layout is spectacular and requires almost every club in the bag. The facility is great, the staff friendly and the service is top-notch.

This course is in excellent shape despite recent snow and hard freezes. The course is challenging and the greens are well maintained. I enjoy the black tees and the length of this course. Pace of play is great and consistently spaced to allow good tempo. I recommend this course to advanced golfers looking to improve their game. The range is in good shape and you can tee up on grass. The layout of this course is nice and sure to challenge your driving and approach skills. Most bunkers are playable and have sand, although some are water filled. Great value for the price and open to all groups and ages. Thanks

Wonderful golf course with a challenging layout. Beautiful views from every well maintained hole. The course offers a variety of tee boxes for every skill level. I really enjoy playing Toiyabe and the staff is great.

This is a great course with excellent conditions given the time of year .But they need a marshall to check perople going so slow we had a group of 4 guys in front of us three holes behind and they refused to let us pass I guess because we were a foursome,but we had to wait for them everyhole and most of the time it would takje them three shots each just to get far enough we could tee off which lead to us barely finishing before dark and ruining our tempo of course

Very impressive course, great layout and well maintained. Greens are super soft, and still fast. 2nd Duncan managed course this week, they really know what they're doing. Golfnow needs to update their info, there are no GPS carts used here. The only negative i have with the course is no yardage marker. Wasn't as big of a deal for me, I have a GPS app on my phone. But without that or a range finder, you're stuck guessing.

Teed off at noon and finished under 4 hours. Course was in great condition. Greens are fast and very tricky to read. My favorite course in the Reno area. Very scenic surroundings.

Course was in beautiful shape, couple of areas under repair. Greens in good shape but difficult. Traps also in good shape, the staff did a great job taking them. Course is definitely challenging, especially 9. 600 yard par 5 into the wind. Can't wait to get back out and play again.

It was a perfect day. Beautiful weather and course was in excellent condition. I can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff, especially Trevor. He not only helped us with our tee time, but also made several recommendations on playing the course. He was the main reason that we will be back at Toiyabe. Let me also say again that the condition of the course was wonderful. It played well and had more than enough challenges for any golfer. Great day.

Staff was not friendly and no course handbooks available so for first time playing at this course that was a negative.

I suggest that the marshals keep up on slow players more frequently. We had a foursome in front of us that had to let two foursomes through. They were learning the game and it made for very slow play for others on the course.

Toiyabe is in great shape and has the greatest scenery in Nevada. Course is fun to play with a great layout.
