TPC Myrtle Beach
About
TPC Myrtle Beach, designed by Tom Fazio with assistance from Lanny Wadkins, opened in 1999 as the Grand Strand's 100th golf course.
Set south of Myrtle Beach in Murrells Inlet, the golf course features an abundance of bird life and natural wetlands, which come into play on 11 holes and pine trees frame many of the holes. Tom Watson proclaimed TPC Myrtle Beach an "interesting challenge and a quiet walk in nature."

Not Maintained
I have played this course every year, as it is one of my favorite courses in the area. It is a very challenging, beautiful layout. This year, however, this course has not been maintained properly. I can understand the greens being slow as it had rained earlier in the week, but the tee boxes were not cut at all. It was as if we were teeing off in the rough. And the fairways also were not cut — you couldn’t tell where the fairway ended and the rough began!
If they want to charge TPC greens fees, they must maintain the course as such.
What a great experience!
Very fun but challenging round we had. Great conditions, beautiful greens. Staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Allan especially with his "stodgy" charm! :)
Best Course I Ever Played
Me and four friends were on golf trip to Myrtle and were not that fussy with where we played however wanted to have one round at a high end course. TPC Myrtle Beach was our selection and we were blown away. Couse conditions were exceptional, course layout was challenging and fun, each and every hole had the beauty of a postcard. Never pressured from behind nor held up, felt like we were the only group on the course. Loved everything about it!!
Amazing
This was my wife and mine second time playing golf at TPC Myrtle Beach staff is top notch no other course i have played has staff like TPC they will talk to you answer any questions offer advice for on the course they have a photographer on the first tee to take your picture if you would like a souvenir. Thank you for a great experience.
Amazing
What a great track. As soon as you get to the tee box on hole 1, you know you’re in for a challenge. I played from the tips and it was very challenging but also very fair. The staff was very nice and the course was awesome. Can’t wait to go back.
Nice
The course was in great shape and playing condition. However, the value for the price isn't there. Would rather play two other courses that have similar conditions for the same price. Glad to have played it, but would never return.
Treat
We teed off at 2pm and had this gem to ourselves. Great condition and a fun layout. As a TPC course, it certainly didn’t disappoint. Great track
Must play
Course condition was great! Should’ve taken a caddie but opted not to. If you come to Myrtle this is a must play!!
Great course in Myrtle beach area
Well designed and maintained, one of those TPC courses. Every enthusiastic and serious golfer should enjoy a round on this course. The green is reasonably fast, fairway is beautifully maintained. You will have a great memory of its picturesque layout. Also beware that there is a gator in the pond on 14th(?) hole. I had great time with two Texan gentlemen.
Best staff anywhere!
The best and most courteous staff i have ever seen. We played a week after a hurricane brought floods and the crew was amazing! The entire staff were a pleasure!
