TPC Myrtle Beach
About
TPC Myrtle Beach, designed by Tom Fazio with assistance from Lanny Wadkins, opened in 1999 as the Grand Strand's 100th golf course.
Set south of Myrtle Beach in Murrells Inlet, the golf course features an abundance of bird life and natural wetlands, which come into play on 11 holes and pine trees frame many of the holes. Tom Watson proclaimed TPC Myrtle Beach an "interesting challenge and a quiet walk in nature."

Awesome Experience
The round was amazing. From the interaction at bag drop, to the clubhouse, to the practice range, to the starter. Everyone was extremely friendly, inviting and knowledgeable. A bit overwhelming as I’ve never played a course of this caliber, but staff all made it seem like just another round of golf. The course was in pretty good shape. Greens were not as fast as I was expecting. Fairways were firm and good rollout. Many beautiful picturesque holes. Off-season price was not bad at all especially leading into Father’s Day weekend. Those cold towels at the end of the round were icing on the cake. I hope to be back next year with some friends.
Good course but a little overpriced
Great layout and excellent amenities, like the range….. however pace of play was not great (5 hours, 20 minutes) and overall conditions were ok ( wasn’t due to heavy rain the day before) . So for $185, i probably wouldn’t play here again unfortunately. Staff was great!!!
I would have played here all 4 days I was in Myrtle Beach
This course had a great blend of interesting holes and challenging features. The course was immaculate and the greens were fast and true. This course may have been the in the most perfect shape of any course I have ever played.
TPC Myrtle Beach
I played at TPC Myrtle Beach with three friends on Friday, March 28th. This is my first time playing a TPC course and it didn’t disappoint. The course itself was in phenomenal shape. Every hole is unique and very rarely see other holes except for the one you are playing. The course is fair but will provide a challenge on wayward shots. The greens were smooth and fast. According to the sign at the starter station the green speeds were running from 11 to 11.5. according to the Stimpmeter. It’s hard to pick a favorite hole because they were all unique in their own way. The entire staff from the bag drop, to the restaurant, to the pro shop were extremely nice and professional. I would not hesitate to go back and play it again. I would recommend sitting outside on the porch after your round, enjoy the views of the surrounding area and watch your fellow golfers navigate number 18.
Lost money to my brothers in Myrtle
Very challenging course for a double digit handicap. We had a blast!
Amazing
Everything you would expect from a TPC course. In phenomenal condition. Perfect greens.
