About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

I like this course
This is a very enjoyable course to play…..friendly people ….well-maintained…challenging, but not really that hard ….I can usually shoot the mid 90s which is average for me. Certainly worth checking out.
Fun day at Ventura
The course was a ton of fun - mostly becasue of the couple we were paired with, Drizzle on and off didn't dampen our spirits. We will definitely be back.

Some Quirky Holes
We found the course in good condition and the greens putted true. Don’t let the yardage fool you. We played from the tips (6000 yds) and it made some holes a bear. One par 3, there were 6 hence the par 70, played 240 into the wind and one par 5 played 585 into the wind. There were some short par 4s, 300ish, where you need to make your scores. This was our first time playing the course, so, hopefully, we’ll have a little course knowledge the next time.
Good little course
Well maintained except for the tee boxes which they are working on. Best sand traps in central Florida!

Little Gem in Orlando
Nice layout. Mixed Challenges with water and sand. Greens smooth and true. Moderate length coarse.

Nice course.
Greens and bunkers are in great shape. Few of the tee boxes were just sand painted green. Couse layout is confusing getting from green to next tee. Short course, only 6,000 yards.
Overall, had a good time and enjoyed my round.
Thanks for playing the New Ventura CC! The golf course is in fantastic condition! We use green sand to topdress tee areas. The entire course has carts paths that will lead you to the next tee.

Very good
Course condition and layout were good and we had a nice time. Folks there were also very pleasant . Definitely coming back when we get a chance next time .

Great short course
Course is great, fun layout. Not somewhere for long hitters, I drove 5 par 4's without much issue.
Had my 13 yo with me and we played the tips and great course for that age and the senior players.
Greens were slow but for the demographic desired I'm sure that is why.
Saw the beverage cart only once (that she stopped) not much offered, chips and drinks. No sandwiches or anything and she lacked personality and rather unpleasant. Not someone I would want customer facing.
Thanks for playing the New Ventura CC! We have been very busy and sometimes the beverage cart gets overwhelmed. You may also stop in our 19th hole restaurant , with easy access as you go to the 3rd hole, after play on the 9th and of course when you finish play on the 18th!

Very nice
From tips ~6000 but it also has 6 par 3s and some of them were crazy long like >230 yards. Overall however fun course with fast greens and nice fairways.
