About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Great value;
Played here for the first time last week and posted a review. Decided to try it again and it did not disappoint. Was paired with three other players. Pace of play was good. Greens excellent and challenging. Will continue to put this on my golf itinerary

Decent but a short course
The course was designed with some interesting layouts. But overall fairly short. The course did not have a ranger so a single player kept on jumping around and pushed us a bit which was not pleasant. Overall, fair value for the money if you are looking for a warm up course.

Great course
Enough water to make it challenging, well conditioned fariways, greens, and bunkers. Favorite hole was the one that I had to carry 200 yds in drive from the blue tees, to clear the water (unless you hit to your right then it is less).

Value for money
I played at Ventura few years ago. The golfcourse is in much better condition now. The greens are much faster and I will play again at Ventura.

First time
Good value. Greens good but a little slower than they look. Fairways and tee boxes good. Rough is brutal in most areas. Not a fan of the overall layout but still a good value. Horrible driving range fyi
A pleasant surprise!
Unexpected, excellent course redesigned and challenging only a par 70. But the par3s are relatively long as are the par. 5.s Par 4s are relatively short but not as easy as they look. Greens are fairly large and roll true. I have been playing courses in the Orlando area for years and this one escaped me until now. I will definitely go back for another go at it. Staff helpful and friendly

I like this course
This course is in very good condition, and the greens are excellent…..it’s usually crowded though. I got around in three hours….certainly a good value for the money and I normally play there at least once a month

Good, but....
Course was in good shape. The cart paths need to be done/redone.
The main issue was that the ranger kept coming by and talking to one of the golfer, who
is a member, and their chatter continued even
when one of the other golfers or I were attempting shots.
Thanks for playing the New Ventura CC! We plan to rework the cart paths in the near future after assessing issues regarding rain and excessive runoff. Our Player Assistant is very involved in pace and managing the golf course, sorry for any distractions.
