The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Enjoyable Day Out

This was a very enjoyable day out. Playing from the whites some holes were kinda short, but it made for an enjoyable day. I was allowed to go out on my own which was nice. Carts were good. No ball washers to be seen. Cart girl only made one appearance. Greens were in great condition.

Overall, a very nice course. Greens in very good shape, tricky undulations. Some cart paths pretty rough. Fairways seemed to drain well afte the rains. Recommend this course. It may seem short to long hittters, but errant shots are penalized.

I play here regularly. The Course is in great shape. Greens roll smooth for the most part. There are ball marks that players have obviously not repaired, but is expected for a public course. No dead areas. Fairways are in good condition. The tee boxes on the par 3s could use some work.
