Ventura Country Club
About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Great Day for Golf
Could not have asked for a better day. Had loads of fun and did play ok.
Golf course review
I thought the course was in great shape for all the rain the area received. The greens also were amazing.
Wet course
It was a great day if you hit it close to the cart path. otherwise, it was a long day. All good, Course needed time to dry out.
Nice Course!
The course layout was fun. Play moved along nicely. The greens were in good shape! We were not informed when we started where the carts could be taken or anything about where to drive and not to drive. They have to carts setup to shut down forward motion if your trying to do something it didn’t want you to do. Some said 90 degrees, some let you go out and others shut down when you left the cart path. Would have been nice to know info on the holes before we teed off. Would have saved a lot of frustration!!
We will go back given the opportunity.
Little gem on city
If you want to try you accuracy this the place is narrow course with a lot of par 3 and log par fives small greens
Excellent
The course was in great shape. This time I did not have to bring a hammer and chisel to put my tee in the ground. Greens and fairways were awesome! We had a great time paired up with another player about our caliber. Ventura is still a challenging course for us and a very good price.
Is not that Short
Is playing around 6000 yards when you playing from the back,They have some of the longest par threes in Orlando tied course accuracy is necessary
Thanks for playing the New Ventura CC! You are correct, our black tees at 6002 yards give all players a test of both course management and accuracy. Our par 3's are especially tough with our wicked greens complexes and with an average length of 174 yards!

Great time
As I’ve been getting into golf the last several months I’ve tried out a number of different courses in the area and this has been my favorite one to come back to. Course is in great shape and offers good challenges.
First time
While house sitting in Winter Garden we opted to play Ventura based on the on line reviews and the proximity to where we were staying. I will start by saying that I’ve been nursing a abdomen muscle pull and I decided to play from the front tees with my wife so I wasn’t tempted to over do it. It didn’t matter one bit because my thoughts on the experience would be the same as if I played the tip, which only measure about 6000 yards, but that’s the distance I play from at my home course. The course was immaculate! Tee to green. The staff was on point and the pace of play was great. The greens were smooth and healthy. I was only in one sand trap, there was plenty of sand and while I had an awkward lie I found the sand very playable. There’s a bunch of water but there’s plenty of ways to avoid it.
A great day on the course. It’s only a few miles from our house sitting spot so we will be back next time around for sure.
I can think if only two negative items: the cart paths are made of crushed shells and due to not,Al drainage there were many that had ruts in them which made the ride pretty bumpy at times and the paths to a few of the tee boxes were not marked very well so we made a couple of wrong turns. (No big deal).
Thanks for playing the New Ventura CC! Happy the course was presented well to your group. The screens in the carts provide yardage, course layout and course info to the player. Our system helps to protect the course from high traffic and sensitive areas such as tee complexes, penalty areas, approach areas, greens complexes and all par 3's. This is to ensure that all highly played areas are pristine for all players.
Hope to have you back soon!
