About
The Heritage Club was built on a plot of fertile land along the beautiful Waccamaw River Trail. Over 600 acres of giant magnolias, 300-year-old oaks, fresh water lakes and marshes have been transformed into a golfing community that rivals the finest in the world. The Heritage Club reflects a unique landscape carved by the whims of the river. A magnificent avenue of oaks leads to the welcoming clubhouse overlooking the Waccamaw River.
Ranked among the “50 Best Public Courses in America” by Golf Digest, the Par 71 Heritage Club, a Dan Maples design, follows the natural contours of the land, stretching out beside long abandoned rice fields. The Heritage Club course features spacious, rolling fairways and large, undulating greens, surrounded by lush stands of crepe myrtle, camellias and azaleas. Heavily landscaped areas of wildflowers and flowering shrubs will maintain the beauty of this beautiful setting for generations to come.

Nice conditions but overpriced
The course was lovely but the driving range was crowded, the greens were a bit slow. Course in good condition. Great day but over priced.
My Review of Heritage
Was expecting better course conditions. Staff was great, friendly and accommodating.
Amazin course
What a great layout! Other than the cart parth, everything is impeccable
Nice course
Course is a nice design, several holes are picturesque. Staff I encountered were very welcoming and accommodating. Lots of ground’s work being done mid morning to afternoon and was distracting. Will play again when possible hopefully when course is at its peak growing season.
Great
Played this by myself about a year ago and loved it. So when my family decided to do a golf trip to the area, this was a no brainer. We had a great time and the staff were great.
My favorite!
Played over 70 courses in MB area and this is my #1 with Caledonia a close 2nd. Challenging design, plenty of length, some water holes with lots of wind. Great variety of holes. Greens were excellent, true and quick. Expected a slow round on a beautiful Sunday morning but we finished in just under 4 hours!
Great Course
Very well maintained, great scenery, huge greens great course
My donnation of $215.-
One second after I paid 4 ! Greenfees I realised, I chose the wrong day!
I am still in Germany and so i planned to play one month later!
There was no way to cancel! Hope, everybody is happy about a donation of 215.-$
Big mistake!
We did not play at all! After I paid 215.-$, I realized, wrong date ! We are still in Germany and I planned to play march, not Feb.!!

Not as expected
Ground was hard, green was slow. That's sums it up to a bad golf course. On top of it, for no reason, today was cart path only, again?! Sorry, no return and hope you won't go neither.

Just ok
Had high hopes knowing it’s right next to both Caledonia and True Blue. Doesn’t compare…. A decent layout. The greens were in good shape - and fast - but the fairways and tee boxes were not with many bare spots. A typical MB track with homes along most fairways. No memorable holes, no wow factor. I wouldn’t seek out to play again any time soon.

Great track! Greens are great! Fairways are plush! Staff was fabulous! Best track on the south end! The layout is great. No holes are similar. Every hole has the wow factor!
