About
The Heritage Club was built on a plot of fertile land along the beautiful Waccamaw River Trail. Over 600 acres of giant magnolias, 300-year-old oaks, fresh water lakes and marshes have been transformed into a golfing community that rivals the finest in the world. The Heritage Club reflects a unique landscape carved by the whims of the river. A magnificent avenue of oaks leads to the welcoming clubhouse overlooking the Waccamaw River.
Ranked among the “50 Best Public Courses in America” by Golf Digest, the Par 71 Heritage Club, a Dan Maples design, follows the natural contours of the land, stretching out beside long abandoned rice fields. The Heritage Club course features spacious, rolling fairways and large, undulating greens, surrounded by lush stands of crepe myrtle, camellias and azaleas. Heavily landscaped areas of wildflowers and flowering shrubs will maintain the beauty of this beautiful setting for generations to come.

Golfer Reviews
Gem of a of layout
Great course with outstanding layout. Greens were great and you can expect a few 3 putts if you are playing it for first time. Overall one of my favorite courses in MB area. Will be back
Wonderful facility and layout, knowledgeable friendly staff, awful pace of play for an afternoon tee time. Got stuck on the back nine behind a foursome that was taking 20 plus minutes per hole. An effective ranger would have been welcomed.
Great Time!
Make sure you have your reservation printed out! GATED COMMUNITY! The gate woman gave me some attitude. The golf course said she shouldn't have.
GREAT COURSE Decided to treat myself to an upscale round! I am so happy I did! Great Course, Friendly Staff! Mac machine did not work!
One of the best SC has to offer
Love the course, the layout and….the wildlife lol.
Awesome!
Excellent time there. Staff are super friendly. Course was challenging. Breakfast and Lunch was included in course fees. Will definately go back.
Summer heat, but not a drop to drink
I played on a july afternoon and the cart girl stopped me on the first green at 2pm. Said she may not see me the rest of the day. I was puzzled. I came to learn that there were not many people out in the heat so she "must have left "
Ok.. i guess i get it. Then as i attempted to get water at few water stations they were bone dry.
You would think that the 5 people standing around to unload your bags can take a cart and fill up the water coolers... or hand you a few bottles of water.
They are only good at dishing out snide comments when asked about the water.
Greens were so shaggy the couse should have been named Scooby-Doo.
Heritage has heritage, what an experience
Our foursome was composed of a new golfer and a few old timers. Together we endured the challenge laid out by a superiorly designed course. I won.
I will be back
For the constant rain over the last few days it was still one of the nicest courses I’ve played in the area hands down
