Sanctuary Ridge Golf Club

The greens were fast but true. Fairways need a lot of watering. the pace of play was pitiful teed off at 11:10 and finished at 5:00. I would play this course again, but they need to get someone out there to speed up play at least 3 groups just drove off after 15 holes and on the last par 3 (9) guys played it at one time. They need a marshal.

Course needs work! With the great layout of the course a little water and work would help greatly.

Fantastic layout but course was in horrible condition. All bunkers should have been waste bunkers - no rakes to be found as was obvious by the many foot prints. Most had grass growing in them.With some TLC could easily become “the” primo course in the area.

The experience was terrible. From the start we were rushed although we were there 30 minutes before tee time. We were sent out early and tee’d off 25 minutes late. Nowhere to go to the bathroom since the clubhouse closed way too early and we couldn’t get a drink or food. The course is definitely torn apart and is the worst course I’ve ever played in my entire life. From the staff to the course it’s all a disaster. It’s playing golf in the hills of Clermont, FL. I will definitely be contacting GolfNow for a refund. Totally disappointed and upset after my experience.

Greens are in good shape. The course layout is always fun to play. Fairways are hard with very little grass. Most shots are off hard pan. Some difficult lies around the greens and traps are not in good shape. There are not many rakes around the sand traps so expect to be in foot prints. This could be a great course with the right maintenance.

Greens were good. The of the course was in tough conditions driving range was a joke but$36 I guess it was okay

Played this course several times & pace of play was just over 4 hrs. Greens are best of all courses we have played.

This is a fun course the play with lots of hills and valleys to deal with. Not your regular course. Great value. I will come back for more

I love this course, live across the street, but it needs work. Greens are in decent shape. My understanding is once again under new management, won't find a better layout for the money

A challenging course with lots of scenic views.. the elevation changes and many deep hazards requires good shot making. Greens were very slow.

I have played this course many times in the past. The course is in horrible conditions. Greens are good but tees and fairways are awful.

I love playing golf at Sanctuary Ridge and have play it for a number of years. The staff are very professional and friendly. The greens are the are in the best condition I have played on in along time. However, all that being said, cannot believe that from the blue tees is a 113 slope and from the tips is a 124 slope. Can someone from Sanctuary Ridge please explain to me why the slope on the blue tees are only 113 and MetroWest is a 130 slope? I mean Winter Pines golf club from the tips is a 113 slope and Sanctuary Ridge is 113 also? Sanctuary Ridge is a VERY challenging course! Much harder than a lot of courses in Central Florida. Please explain the slope rating. Thanks.

Dew sweeping at 7:50am, the pace of play was excellent. Greens are in good condition and the fairways too. No complaints.

The course conditions were terrible. The greens however were very nice. The layout was unreasonable. Difficult shots from barren fairways with no ball out areas. Needed perfect shots to even stay in play. Like I said never again.

First course off plane from Canada. We play this course just about every year. Reasonable shape ,although sand traps are not well maintained , which is never a good sign. Got a great deal, so if we only played 9 holes was OK, but after first nine we flew through the remainder of the course. Assuming it is still open next year ,we will be back.

Very slow play-hardly any grass on the fairways-and the putting surface was extremely slow-no cart girl on course if you wanted refreshments-not good on a hot day!!!!
