Poor conditions
The worst condition of a course I‘be played on in years. Tee to green hardly any grass. Sorry to see it in such bad shape.

It bad, when the cow pasture on the other side of the fence, have more grass then the fairways. very sad.

Very bad condions
The staff is great the views amazing love the lay out but it has gone down to horrible shape very little grass it’s dead hate to see go to this state

Cow pasture
They have invested 0 money on this course. Fairways were dirt with some grass/ weed. Greens were horrible. The layout had potential. Disappointed all over

Do Not Play This Course
This course has been getting gradually worse, and when we played on 4/17/21, it was in worst condition ever. Also beware of the fire ants. My playing partner got bit by them.

Horrible neglected course
We played here because in the past this course was one of our favorite in clermont. The course conditions are awful and it really should be shut down. All the fairways are full of sand and weeds. Greens are painted. Peoples back yards have more grass in them than the golf course. The pace of play was 4.5 hours as we painstakingly watched the group in front play extra balls. There was not a worker in site. This course could be beautiful if it was properly taken care of. What a shame to see this course in this state. Please shut down and stop taking peoples money until conditions are improved.

Unique layout. NE
Never played a course that had such a unique layout. Don't play this course unless someone on your group has played it before. Too bad the fairways are in such condition, for that was my only negative. We ate in their grill and the food was excellent, as was the service.

There are no words
The entire course is a sand trap. There is literally no grass anywhere on the entire course. Never seen 18 holes with no grass on the fairway. Greens were torn up. How do they get repeat golfers. On a positive note, it was challenging. Could be a really nice course if it had grass. Will not return. Soooo many amazing Orlando area courses. This is not one. Staff very friendly. Lunch was good.

Disgraceful Condition
Weeds and dirt make up the fairways. Painted greens. Dirt tee boxes.

The absolute WORST Conditions I've EVER Seen on a GolfNow Course!!!
In over 15 years on GolfNow, I have written only a few reviews - most, if not all of them complimentary. With that said, I feel compelled to write a report about the truly grotesque sight that welcomed me today, as my first time playing Sanctuary Ridge. Let me assure you, fellow golfers, that I am not given to hyperbole, nor am I a complainer (read my other reviews to verify). But I am at a loss for words to clearly convey the horrific conditions that this "course" is in. I am embarrassed that this seemingly abandoned, weed-filled goat track is presented to the public as an actual golf course. It obviously was at some point, but not now. I'm beyond shocked that GolfNow would even consider offering such a decrepit dirt field on it's platform for their patrons to consider. Is there no minimum standard for courses that GolfNow offers to it's patrons? Obviously not! I've already registered my disappointment with them today and have requested a full refund (first time ever). I've uploaded some pics, because words alone simply cannot convey the horror that awaits anyone with the misfortune of visiting this weeded wasteland. In short, save yourself the money, the drive and the disappointment by booking this course. There are many, many, far more worthy courses - real courses that cost about the around same and you will leave them feeling far more fulfilled. The only bright spots with this dump is the exceptional layout, friendly staff and the pace of play was good, I'd suspect because golfers avoid this place. But other than that, there's NOTHING but heavily weeded and bare dirt fairways (if you can even call them that) and equally heavily weeded bunkers. The unbelievably poor conditions were a major distraction, which drained any real fun that could have been had otherwise. It's all just weeds and dirt. The pictures will try to show the disaster all over the "course". What a complete waste.

Literally NO grass. It is all dirt, dead grass and weeds. I should have demanded m,y money back. This course was a joke.

Course is in such awful shape it’s not even fun to play. May as well shut the course down.

Worst Golf course Ever!!!!!
This is by far the worst golf course I have ever played and definitely should be letting players know what the conditions are before booking a tee time. Starter told me before I went out that the course was in the middle of being sold then the buyers back out so that’s why fairways are dry and the greens are a little bumpy.

Course needs a lot of work
This place has been neglected for a while. Either drop the prices or make some improvements. The course looks like it has been abandoned. It has a great layout with a lot of interesting holes and challenges. The course is spread out over a large area and signage to the next hole is not the most obvious at times. The tee off markers are so faded or broken or missing it is hard to tell sometimes which markers to use. The fairways and numerous parts of the course are in very poor condition with enough potholes to make even driving a golf cart dangerous at times. A lot of the sand traps need weed control. It’s a fun course but I feel it is overpriced for the course conditions at this time.
