About
Eagle Vines Vineyards & Golf Club is tucked away in the foothills of Napa Valley, offering one of the most scenic courses in the area. It is also considered by many locals to be one of the most challenging. Every hole on the golf course provides stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. The layout sprawls across gently rolling hills that weave through stands of mature cherry and oak trees, shimmering waterfalls, and meandering creeks. The golf course offers challenging multi-tiered greens and postage-stamp landing areas that demand well placed iron shots. The memorable seventh hole features an even more difficult island green. There are also some tricky fairways that seem much more open than they are. Eagle Vines numerous risk-reward opportunities that will have golfers using every club in their bag.

Extremely slow
Took 5 hours to play, not acceptable given that the twosome in front was playing 2 balls, and they weren't holding us up. Fairways filled with white flowers making finding ball on some holes difficult. Tees need major wotk, the only good thing was that the greens were in good shape

Course is in terrible condition, weeds everywhere, traps should be filled in as there is no sand, only dirt.
Greens OK.
Range conditions and balls were a joke.
$70.00 to play a cow pasture.

Wide open, fun, beautiful scenery….. $65 for 2ppl w/ cart 18 holes on a Saturday late afternoon!!!!
Needs a Marshall on course for the SUPER SLOW PLAYERS.
Slowest play time I’ve encountered yet! By the time we got to the clubhouse 3pm no food was being served.
Starter was not pleasant but the clubhouse guys were.

Poor value
If you want to pay a premium price for a course that has an irons only range and a pace of play of a little over 5 and 1/2 hours then go ahead. We booked a 9am Tee Time and didn’t finish until 2:36pm and we did not see a marshal the whole time. For the price I think pace of play was honestly unacceptable and not worth the money.

Good course
Course was is good condition, greens were in great condition. The wind definitely made it more challenging. Staff were great and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Nice layout but needs some work
If 3.5 stars were an option then that's what I'd have given it. I really liked the layout. You could walk it if that's your thing (but there are a couple of longer treks from green to tee). The greens were generally in good shape with a couple of notable exceptions (the gopher hole/tunnel on ... 15?). The tee boxes were bad: not flat and badly maintained, and that's inexcusable. Flat lies on the tees are a must for me. The driving range was in even worse condition (and it's irons only with a reachable par 5 as the first hole). With some TLC in a few spots, the course could be quite nice but it needs some work at the price point.

Terrible Conditions
This course used to be great. Not anymore. Tee boxes are uneven, bunkers have weeds growing all over, and off the fairway the grass has multiple different lengths and Dandelions everywhere! I won’t be returning until it’s back to how it used to be.

Currently the course is in terrible condition
The course is in terrible condition! We love Eagle Vines but the lack of care in keeping the course in good condition is disconcerting. We were told by a staff member that the greenskeeper had left and had not been replaced. There are many other courses we can play so we won"t be returning or referring anyone else until you get the course into playing shape.

Not a golf course
Fairway grass is for horses and tee boxes are I’ll shaped. It is a wide space but not a golf course.

Weeds
There were several holes weeds growing on the green in my putting line. Some green has an about 15” size. Also fairways hasn’t mowed maybe close to 2 weeks. Lastly, a few holes tee to tee moving distance was very long.

What Happened to Eagle Vines!?
My gosh, this place has gone to pot! Several of the tee boxes were literally mud holes, lots of dead or dying grass everywhere, and the sand traps were horrible. The greens were in fairly good shape, and the staff is friendly. However, that’s all I can say about this once great course. They must be in bad financial shape to let it go downhill so rapidly.
