About
Eagle Vines Vineyards & Golf Club is tucked away in the foothills of Napa Valley, offering one of the most scenic courses in the area. It is also considered by many locals to be one of the most challenging. Every hole on the golf course provides stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. The layout sprawls across gently rolling hills that weave through stands of mature cherry and oak trees, shimmering waterfalls, and meandering creeks. The golf course offers challenging multi-tiered greens and postage-stamp landing areas that demand well placed iron shots. The memorable seventh hole features an even more difficult island green. There are also some tricky fairways that seem much more open than they are. Eagle Vines numerous risk-reward opportunities that will have golfers using every club in their bag.

Fun course with some great features but needs to dry out
I was very unimpressed with this course upon arrival. I showed up a few hours early to get some practice in and the range was closed. The range is irons only and looks like your hitting into a pasture. I inquired about getting out early since it was pretty quiet and not many groups were headed out. The gruff gentleman in the pro shop refused to let me go early and I was a single. When i did get out two hours later, the course was now busy and the pace of play sucked. The bunkers were all full of water and quite a few wet spots throughout the course. Lots of water hazards but good sized fairways and a fun layout. The greens were pretty good, lots of undulations and pretty slow because of the wetness.
Not bad considering all the rain
The course was in decent shape, considering the amount of rain received. There was standing water in certain airways while most of the low spots on fairways were wet. Given the conditions the greens were in good shape and fast. Look forward to returning once we get through all this rain and course is allowed to dry out.

Beautiful course with all the t box in different elevations
And all the par 3 are great Challenging distance !
With all the rain we have this course drains well and the greens are in great rolling conditions we like everything about this course and very friendly staffs

club house staff needs improvement
The driving range isn't great, irons only. TBH not a big deal. Most the the staff in the bar, restaurant, snack stand on the 9th hole and bar cart person are all great.. But you start your round with the grumpy, pretentious, "you don't belong" guys in the club house. At some point it's always going to be your first time playing golf or playing at a golf course but you don't have to make it bad. My experience was horrible given I've been playing for a little bit but man I feel for any newbies that might wanna play here. Asked a couple questions got kurt answers. Given the weather I had called prior and also got kurt answers about cart path only. Wasn't mad about the policy just wanted to know but the attitude makes it not worth what they are charging.

Challenging layout, slow pace
Great layout and course was in good condition considering the record rainfall leading up to the round. The course was overbooked and understaffed. Round lasted well over 5 hours.

The course was a little rough overall. Some tees, some fairways and some greens were a little under "par". Usually in great shape. I attribute the roughness to the weather. But still.

Love the course, pace was beyond slow
We took off at 1 and it took 3.5 hours to play 10 holes. Ridiculously slow. We left after 12 holes. The 13th hole had 3 groups on it and one group waiting ahead of us.
There was a group of gentlemen, who were looping on 10 and 11. So that slowed everything down.
No marshal, no pace police and a total mismanagement of how many people should be on the course at one time.
Never did see the slow group, but awful, just awful snd the course layout snd condition were great?
