About
Eagle Vines Vineyards & Golf Club is tucked away in the foothills of Napa Valley, offering one of the most scenic courses in the area. It is also considered by many locals to be one of the most challenging. Every hole on the golf course provides stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. The layout sprawls across gently rolling hills that weave through stands of mature cherry and oak trees, shimmering waterfalls, and meandering creeks. The golf course offers challenging multi-tiered greens and postage-stamp landing areas that demand well placed iron shots. The memorable seventh hole features an even more difficult island green. There are also some tricky fairways that seem much more open than they are. Eagle Vines numerous risk-reward opportunities that will have golfers using every club in their bag.

Frost Delay and Slow Play
The course apparently had a 30-60 minute frost delay. Though our round started only 15 minutes after our tee time, the pace of play was beyond slow. We had finished 12 holes thru 4 hours when we walked off.
We brought it to the pro shops attention and they really couldn't care less. There were no marshal's and the halfway house was closed when we past by. I've played golf almost every week throughout 2022 and this was without a doubt the worst golf experience of 2022.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback as we will use your review to better the experience going forward. We hope you give us another try in the near future!

Great all around golf course
This is a great all around golf course. The course is always well maintained and in good condition. Beautiful views overlooking the vineyards and mountains throughout. Several challenging and fun holes. Fairly easy to go out of bounds in the vineyards or water on the front 9 so keep your tee shots tight. Due to the course layout the more you play this course the better you get at playing other courses which is always a plus. Highly recommend to anyone looking to play golf in the Napa Valley area

Pace of play requires greater monitoring
This can be a very challenging layout, made even more challenging by the fact that there is NOBODY on the course to monitor or address the chronically slow pace of play. Unless you get out early in the morning, we're talking about a five and-a-half hour round. There is a fellow that rides around the course in a cart, but he never stops or says anything to anybody. (I hope they're not paying him much.)
The course is finally in good shape now that the tee boxes on the signature 14th hole are redone, and the diseased greens have been addressed.

Fair condition, but too waiting time is too long.
I started at 8:24 by deciding to play prime time, but waited every tee box to tee off by waiting. No rangers were there but just spent time for waiting and waiting... If it was afternoon or discounted tee time, I could excused but paid as prime time...

First Time Playing Eagle Vines
Great course, challenging at times, starter provided me some insight to the course. Course was in great shape and woooow a few of the par 4's would have been 5's at other courses. To top that off, a 200 plus yard par 3. Couldn't have asked for a better course to play. Thanks to the staff for a great day on the links.

This course has everything we expected for an enjoyable golf day.
From the first tee to the last, we found this course to have a challenging, but fair layout, with both narrow fairways, even but challenging greens and hole elevation changes. On the flip side, the bunkers were not well drained and water was standing in a few of them. Other bunkers had hardpacked sand. The tee boxes need to be improved. Wondered why one tee box ( forget which hole) had the gold tee located behind the white tee. I hope to return again with conditions even better.

Scenic and good drainage after rain
Playing after a rain was hardly noticeable to my guests and made for a nice golf day. Pro shop staff was accommodating and I look forward to visiting the course again.

Sad shape
Been playing this course since it opened and this is the worst course conditions that I’ve seen. My playing mates would agree. The course needs some serious TLC.
