Formerly home to a turpentine plantation, the site now offers one of the most environmentally sensitive courses in northwest Florida, Kelly Plantation. The golf course sits along the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay, sprawling across a waterfront landscape of towering trees and swampy bayous. The course features large, contoured greens and wide, manicured fairways that are in excellent condition but can also be tricky to navigate. The strategically placed hazards also require some careful maneuvering. In addition to being a challenging round, the golf course is also known for its stunning scenic appeal. Throughout the layout, golfers can enjoy panoramic views across the bay to the abundant magnolias and palmettos that are native to Florida's northwest region. For these reasons, Kelly Plantation has received high praise from publications such as Golf Digest and Golf Magazine.

Not worth the money!!

Definitely not worth playing, even if it was half price. The greens were the worse greens I’ve ever seen on a golf course. The Pro Shop should have notified their guest the conditions before taking $180 to play. This course used be be my favorite, now it’s not even on my list to return. Disappointing is an understatement!! Save your money and go play putt-putt golf.

Not A Pleasant Surprise

We have played Kelly Plantation for years and I did not really like the idea of paying over 200 dollars per person which is much too expensive but my wife has always claimed KP as her favorite place to play so we did play and then we found out that they had made some of the par fours as cart path only. There was no damage or any reason other than wha we were told was an experiment. As much as we love Kelly I am not sure about a return.

Disappointing

They put me into a flight who only booked 9 holes - after they had left I had to play after a lot of 4-player-flights as a single player for 9 more holes….at least had expected to be told about this and had the choice to play with another flight

Respectfully, when you were booked and paired up, there was no way for our associates to know that the other 3 players were only planning to play 9 as they originally booked for 18. It was a busy day and all the other times around yours were booked. It is unfortunate that you had to play as a single on a busy day and we would be happy to speak with you regarding this.
