Kelly Plantation Golf Club

I’ve wanted to play Kelly for a while. It’s a nice golf course that I’d like to play again. Greens were good, fairways had a lot of browned out spots from the mid summer heat. When we arrived at the range, there were 5 empty bays, all with empty ball baskets. At 2:20, I asked about getting more balls in those spots and was told the range closed at 3 for a clean pick, so our group of 3 hit 3 balls each that another golfer shared with us. That was disappointing. Saw the cart girl one time (on #2) and it was cooler water from then on. At least there was water in the coolers. It felt a bit like “twilight rate treatment” all around.

For playing on a busy Saturday morning the tee times were perfect and evenly spaced. Staff was more than friendly. I will definitely play this course again

All due respect to Regatta Bay, but Kelly Plantation has them beat right now. Greens are incredible and roll great. Course is plush and green. Amazing views of the bay. It’s a must play in my opinion.

Tight driving course but not too penalizing. The real challenges are the green complexes. Multi tiered greens with tight pin placements. Very hard to get the ball close to the hole. A 3 putt lurking on almost every green!

Played this course recently and decided to play there because of the high rating reviews on the website. Although the green fee was not inexpensive, the price to play was more than fair. The course was in excellent condition including the fairways and greens. There are yardages to accommodate players of alll ages and abilities. I would be more than happy to play this course again when I am visiting this area. I was actually in Panama City beach and the ride there was less than an hour.

Pricey, but good tract. Probably one of top courses in Destin area. Staff friendly, courteous and attentive. Beverage cart came by twice early in round, but then never on the back nine until reaching 17th hole.

Had a fantastic round at Kelly’s Plantation! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful from start to finish. The pace of play was smooth with no delays, which made for an enjoyable experience. The course itself is absolutely beautiful, well maintained with scenic views throughout. It’s fair if you keep it in the fairway but still offers a fun challenge. Definitely looking forward to playing here again!

KPGC was in great shape. Long but fairly open from the tips. Greens putter true, I had trouble reading them.

Range balls included. Friendly staff. Really enjoyed the layout. Greens rolled well. Slightly overpriced in my opinion. Lunch was great. Wait staff was very helpful and even brought us chocolate chip Cookies!

This is a great course with fantastic conditions. Would be a better value if there were some afternoon deals or something. We played Regatta Bay for much cheaper and actually liked it better. But Kelly Plantation is a great course for sure.
