Kelly Plantation Golf Club

For $219, the course was not in great shape except the greens. Greens rolled well and true despite some patches of Poa Annua. Fairways were the worse I have seen there. The drought conditions and a prior issue with the sprinkler pump (according to the Starter) contributed to the less than ideal conditions. Bunkers were not raked. Driving range was very rough. Not much grass to hit off of. Practice green was very good. Staff was mostly helpful except the drink cart. Person on the cart was not friendly. The cart paths have deteriorated quite a bit. Not worth the price we paid.

First time playing Kelly plantation. It was very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful showing you around. Direct you to the practice range which includes the chipping green with the sand trap. to practice those sand shot because there is a lot of sand on the course. Would highly recommend. Be prepared to pay a premium .

We have played this course many times and never paid 199 a round or seen it in this kind of shape They should let you know that the course is not in great shape and offer compensation on the fees of merchandise we saw the ranger 3 times and he never once did anything about the pace of play which ended up being 445 hr nuts greed is the bottom line there and little concern if people come back We’ll it will be along time until they get 800 out of me again to many nice courses in the area with fair prices and conditions $38 for 2 Bloody Marys really

As usual, Kelly did not disappoint! Course was in great shape and Greens were perfect! Will continue to play each year (as I have for the last 10 years plus)!

Recently played the Kelly plantation course. The staff was very friendly and the course layout was awesome. The day we played, there was cartpath only on holes one through nine which was not communicated when I book, but the back nine was fairways. The layout is great and the amenities and the food that we enjoy after round was very tasty and the staff there was simply outstanding and professional. Would really really recommend playing this course if you are in the area or especially if you’re from out of town.

Course played well and was in good shape. The clubhouse put us out behind a five some. Often that is ok, since most people who even try that are decent golfers. These guys were incredibly slow and had no idea about etiquette or how to even play a normal pace. The ranger told them to break up, which they did for a few holes, then they started playing together again for the last three holes. Unbelievable.

Great quality course with a challenging layout. Well maintained and very good pace of play. Was a single behind a foursome and didn’t feel held up. Still got round in at 3hr30min.

Hands down the best course in the Panhandle. The layout is awesome, the facilities are top notch, and the service was great from check in to the completion of our round. Will definitely continue playing Kelly!

After wanting to play this course after many trips

to destin, I was finally able to play The course layout was great and the views were amazing. However given the price, the course was not in great shape and is severely overpriced. Added with unfriendly pro shop staff, I will not be playing here again.

Ok, this is a bit of a stuffy private course, kinda pricey and a 2.7 % credit card fee, come onnnn !! People were very friendly till I walked away after my club wipe down but that tip went to the credit card fee ... sorry buddy. Course very friendly and good tee boxes and greens. Be careful folks we avoid Hilton Head for just these reasons.

When I booked my tee time there was nothing posted about the condition of the course. While playing, greens had been arreated and the entire course wa in bad shape from previous times I have played there. IN all honestly, they should not be charging $200 to play a course in this condition without warning golfers before booking. I should be refunded at lest half of my fees.

Course was a nice layout and staff was nice, greens were slow but I think were punched within the last couple of weeks

I played here twice this week. The second round ruined the destination forever.

Incredible range and the setting was really nice, and the course was challenging, but the way that they managed their tee times was inexcusable.

This course was so disappointing. No grass on fairways. Bunkers not edged. This course is not worth the money.

Beautiful course, friendly, helpful staff. Had a great day enjoying the view. Will definitely play here again.

Have played a few premium courses and this is top of class - greens like carpet and great yet playable layout. Highly recommend and the staff is first class. What a special day. We had 7:18 tee time and wrapped at 10:45, no pressure.
