Firecliff at Desert Willow Golf Resort

Desert Willow Firecliff is an amazing course - challenging but fair - landscaping is beautiful with the mountains as a stunning backdrop. Always in great shape. Pace of play was a bit slow & no ranger - group ahead of us was slow & kept parking in front of the green, slowing play further. Pretty pricey for this pace of play.

Desert Willow runs 2 beautiful courses magnificently. The staff is great. They don't overbook, so the pace of play is reliably good. Excellent conditions in a beautiful desert setting. Very well landscaped with great views.

I try every year to play this desert favorite, but the secret is out and the tee times fill up quickly. Today was perfect. I was fortunate to get paired with 3 other seniors who enjoy the game as I do, and the weather was perfect! The course is always in great condition, and players actually repair most of their ballmarks here! What a concept. Greens are firm and fast so scoring well requires a good short game and steady putting stroke.

Great facility and practice area. Outdoor patio for lunch, dinner is outstanding

We had a great day at Desert Willow. In fact, we played three days in the PS area & this was our favorite. Greens & grounds were in excellent shape. Tee off before 12:30 to finish before dark. Beware: the pro shop closes at 4 in late January/ early February. So do your shopping before you tee off.

Congrats on your high rating shown on the new GolfNow 50 best courses ln the country. We love both courses. Kudos to your golf course staff for impeccable conditions.

Only an issue that I had - bunkers. Send is terrible.

Guys, spend some money without racing that fees, or, at least get maintenance people spend time every morning to loose that sand. Thank you!

We played Firecliff, absolutely beautiful! I couldn’t get over how lush everything was, the t-boxes, fairways and greens. I gave the four rating because the staff is just not friendly, not unfriendly just not friendly if you know what I mean. The staff here should go play a round at Indian Wells so they would know how professional staff treat their patrons.

We stayed at the Westin and got favorable rates on both courses. They’re both terrific, with great scenery on the course and in the distance, challenging but playable.

Course is in great shape and the views are stunning. Proshop closed at 3pm which was a bit early to do any post-round shopping. Staff was okay - not overly friendly for an expensive venue would have expected a bit more.

This course was beautiful, it had aerial views of the mountains, very well-kept,and the staff was wonderful. It was challenging and exciting and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful day of golf. The only drawback was I had heard so many wonderful things about the restaurant and it closed at 5 o’clock just seems a bit early to close. I hope they extend their hours.
