Westchase Golf Club

I must say I love playing a 5+ hour round of golf. Especially when a 4some is being held up by a 3some. Maybe I should’ve done what another 3some did and just took it upon ourselves to play through without asking. Played the first 9 holes in just under 2 hours and then showed up in 10 and a new 3some was on the tee box. This group was 3 groups ahead of us when we started our round and now they are 10 tee waiting. They played from the tips and 2 of the 3 should of been playing from the forward tees. No Marshall to be seen at any point of the round. Needless to say I will NOT be back.

The fairways and course itself was much greener than many of the courses in the area considering how little rain we have this winter. Played the south course at Innisbrook a week ago and this course was in much better shape except that the greens were rather slow and bumpy. I am a 16 handicap senior and our group chose to play the green tees (5800+) as opposed to the whites (6100+) and we agreed that we would have enjoyed the whites a lot more. The greens took the driver out of our hands on a lot of holes because the tee placement on that particular day required us to lay up with an alternate club in front of a waste area on a number of par 4's.. Very nice course though,

Pace of play was disgusting. 3 groups on tee boxes for most of the front 9. No ranger in sight. Pulled up to the 10th tee and then there were FOUR groups on 10. Packed it up and went home. Won’t be back

Great course, challenging layout, friendly staff. Pace of play was not an issue for most of the round. A little backup on the front at a par 3, and a little waiting on the back 9 a few times but overall a steady pace. Great experience and course was in great shape.

Great course worth the money. Greens are a little slow but true. You will enjoy your round.

Extensive water obstacles and bunkers made for interesting but challenging day. Greens seemed a little rough and hard to read. We had a very nice day.

Westchase is the best course of 9 in the area i've played in Tampa Bay.

everything was in great condition,,considering lack of rain this winter and spring. other courses are bone dry.

fairways were lush and greens were fast and true.

some water but no forced carry, lots of bunkers but sand is soft and easy to get out of.

i got a good deal on Golf now but even at regular rate, it is worth it.

That's what I thought. Went to course and they had no reservation for us. Nice job Golfpass!

A couple of greens were beat up and pace of play could be better. Need a ranger on the course to move people along. Layout is good and a fun track to play. Would give it a second chance

This was our first stop on our golf trip. We were supposed to lay $99 but were only charged $79. Bonus!! Great clubhouse and very friendly staff. The layout of the course was tight at times but we loved it. I used every club in my bag that day & so did my friends. We were all very impressed by that. The overall shape of the course was very good. The only thing was the greens were a little hit or miss. One green would be pristine and the next would have many black bare spots about the size of a quarter or slightly larger & affected the roll sometimes. I believe it could have been from a lack of sun in some areas. We would certainly go back. Overall a fine place & experience.
