About
Designed by Lloyd Clifton, Westchase winds through acres of lakes, conservation areas and forest. It offers manicured greens surrounded by natural wetlands, wooden bridges and bulkheads. With its 9,500 sq. ft. clubhouse, full-service dining room, and fully stocked pro shop, Westchase offers a country club atmosphere along with first-class service. The golf club has established itself as one of Tampa Bay's best upscale golf facilities. The front nine meander through an impressive pine forest. The back nine -- which is demanding on the tee shot -- features lakes, wetlands and cypress. Strategically placed bunkers, more sparkling lakes and stands of cypress, oak, palmetto and pine frame the fairways and greens. Signature Hole No. 3, at 212 yards from the back tee, is all you can handle -- It's a Par 3 all-carry over water from the back tee!

Fair and fun, shot makers course! Incredible price point for visual beauty that each hole presents. Greens were tight and true.
Great Conditions
Good Course in great shape. Pace of play was terrible it was a bunch of old hackers the day I played. We had to stop after 15 holes it was just to much.
First time
Will return. One needs to play the course to know the proper club for laying up and even off the tee. Greens a bit bumpy, but no bare spots.
Westchase G.C.
Very challenging from the blues and whites. We played the green tees as none of us ever played the course before, which was much less challenging, but still fun. Next time I'll do the whites to add an extra element of difficulty. Off the tee accuracy is a must on this course...bring some extra balls for sure.
inaccurate yardage
several holes were much shorter than yardage on scorecard..need to be careful on club selection off tee on lay up holes

The greens and fairways were in phenomenal condition ! I’d play here all the time if I lived nearby !!

Play was slow. Course was beautiful and enjoyed it’s difficult layout .
Best residential Course in Tampa
First time playing Westchase and glad I did. Excellent in all phases. Tremendous "floating pond" driving range and wonderful putting greens too. .. WOW .. very upscale Golf Course. . is there a finer facility in the Tampa region ? .. NO . I rate this up with World Woods , Lake Jovita and Saddlebrook as the top three courses in Tampa Bay for the General Public !!!
Great layout, but greens need work
Great course layout. One of my favorites in the area. But come on guys, please fix the greens. There are hundreds of divot marks all over. I’m not sure if it’s cut too short or what the deal is - but you should let the greens heal some.
Great experience
Course was in great shape. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Finished our round in under 4 hours. Hot deal price was ridiculously low for such a nice track. Will definitely play here again.

Lovely layout. Course is a bit beat up but must be expected for a public course. Play was really slow. Foursome would not let our twosome through. A Marshall would help.
