About
Designed by Lloyd Clifton, Westchase winds through acres of lakes, conservation areas and forest. It offers manicured greens surrounded by natural wetlands, wooden bridges and bulkheads. With its 9,500 sq. ft. clubhouse, full-service dining room, and fully stocked pro shop, Westchase offers a country club atmosphere along with first-class service. The golf club has established itself as one of Tampa Bay's best upscale golf facilities. The front nine meander through an impressive pine forest. The back nine -- which is demanding on the tee shot -- features lakes, wetlands and cypress. Strategically placed bunkers, more sparkling lakes and stands of cypress, oak, palmetto and pine frame the fairways and greens. Signature Hole No. 3, at 212 yards from the back tee, is all you can handle -- It's a Par 3 all-carry over water from the back tee!

Nice course for the Golfnow price
Play was slow. Course was beautiful and enjoyed it’s difficult layout .
Best residential Course in Tampa
First time playing Westchase and glad I did. Excellent in all phases. Tremendous "floating pond" driving range and wonderful putting greens too. .. WOW .. very upscale Golf Course. . is there a finer facility in the Tampa region ? .. NO . I rate this up with World Woods , Lake Jovita and Saddlebrook as the top three courses in Tampa Bay for the General Public !!!
Great layout, but greens need work
Great course layout. One of my favorites in the area. But come on guys, please fix the greens. There are hundreds of divot marks all over. I’m not sure if it’s cut too short or what the deal is - but you should let the greens heal some.
Great experience
Course was in great shape. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Finished our round in under 4 hours. Hot deal price was ridiculously low for such a nice track. Will definitely play here again.

Lovely layout. Course is a bit beat up but must be expected for a public course. Play was really slow. Foursome would not let our twosome through. A Marshall would help.
Sunday Golf
Played 9 holes, then saw the final round of the Arnald Palmer Invitational, what a wonderful March Sunday afternoon.
Oh, by the way great golf course too.

Nice track. Tough narrow landing areas big carry into many greens played w a guy from the KF tour who plays there often thats an endorsement
Good layout
Nice course with a fun layout. Decent challenge without being too hard. Front nine greens could have been in better condition. Back nine greens were much improved.
Must play public course in Tampa
This course was great! The staff was very friendly, and they made sure I was taken care of. The course was in great conditions, but the greens were incredibly firm. I will play here every time I come back to the area.
Westchase
I place this course annually when in town. Great staff! Good value for the money. Tee boxes set up well for low to high handicap's. If the greens rolled better I would give this place all five stars. Thanks again to the staff!
Great Time
The fairways were in really great condition. I loved the layout. Also met some really nice people! I highly recommend playing a round here.
