About
Stallion Mountain Golf Club is conveniently situated just minutes from the Strip, but this Las Vegas golf course feels much further away thanks to a scenic landscape of towering, mature pines and six sparkling lakes. Over the years the course has hosted several major events including Frank Sinatra's Celebrity Classic and Las Vegas Invitational. It has a versatile layout that offers plenty of variety and shot values, which makes it appealing for a range of different skill levels. The par 4s and par 5s require long, accurate drives but the approach shots will test your iron game. The golf course also features undulating fairways lined with bunkers and water hazards come into play on 10 holes. In addition to the golf course, Stallion Mountain boasts a comprehensive practice facility that includes a 16-acre driving range with 40 tees, five practice putting greens, two chipping greens, and two practice bunkers.

Stallion Mountain was a new course to play. It was not busy at the time and was in good condition despite the flooding a week before. It was so firm on the greens I did not ever fix a ball mark and I tend to leave them. It was very hot for a Canadian. I took a break between the front and back nines to go back to the clubhouse for a burger and beer which were excellent! Price was also reasonable for a golf course. Not sure if I would play there again as I have many more courses to explore.
That being said I do recommend Stallion Mountain for a visitor to Las Vegas.

Good Layout. GolfNow Overbooked my 7:20 tee time. No stations on water on the course. Recent flooding effected the course greatly

Flooded course!
Paid for a reservation and got to course to find out it had been flooded. No indication of this on booking website or course website. It was a mess! Golf cart was filthy, shoes stuck to floor in club house that had water damage. Golf Cart staff was extremely short, unfriendly & rude. Parking lot was full of dirt & debris, my car was a mess leaving. Holes 10-18 were unplayable. Path to hole 1 was ruined so had to take a different route to get to tee box. Chose not to play. Course should have indicated conditions & damage so golfers can make choice to book or not. I was misled and now lost $ for not cancelling w/in 24 hours. Would be ethical to refund me.

Great experience
Course conditions were a lot better than what i was expecting due to the prior days down pour and flash floods. Cart path only made it extremely challenging to avoid walking more than necessary. Greens were absolutely outstanding given the circumstances. Great experience and will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

Great Training Course
Since I am a beginner, I felt this course was a challenge, but ideal for me to learn a lot about different shots, strategies per hole, and learning to read greens. Got paired with two great guys originally from New York and they were very knowledgeable about the course and game, and were patient with me,

The Stallion
This course is basically holes out together after the other courses were leveled to make way for new homes. The course has seen it's ups and downs over the years since the change. Baren greens and spotty fairways but a new day is here and the course is in immaculate shape.

Nice Track; Worth the Hot Deal Price
Got a GREAT price with a GN Hot Deal. Course was in pretty good shape, especially for August in Las Vegas. Greens were in great condition and fast. Played at 7:50 a.m. with another single behind a threesome of locals and the pace of play was excellent - finished 18 holes in just over 3 hours. Nice variety of challenging but fair holes; good choice of tee boxes for any handicap.
