About
Stallion Mountain Golf Club is conveniently situated just minutes from the Strip, but this Las Vegas golf course feels much further away thanks to a scenic landscape of towering, mature pines and six sparkling lakes. Over the years the course has hosted several major events including Frank Sinatra's Celebrity Classic and Las Vegas Invitational. It has a versatile layout that offers plenty of variety and shot values, which makes it appealing for a range of different skill levels. The par 4s and par 5s require long, accurate drives but the approach shots will test your iron game. The golf course also features undulating fairways lined with bunkers and water hazards come into play on 10 holes. In addition to the golf course, Stallion Mountain boasts a comprehensive practice facility that includes a 16-acre driving range with 40 tees, five practice putting greens, two chipping greens, and two practice bunkers.

Great value
Played this course a couple of years ago with my daughter when she had a tournament there. Couldn’t remember the layout so wanted to play again. $56 total dollars on golf now. Great price. Wide fairways, enormous greens. Greens were a little long but putted fine.

First time
This is my first time playing this course and I’d play it again as a course to play when visiting Las Vegas. Staff was extremely friendly and course was well maintained. Good layout.

Was a hot day and only saw the cart girl once in four hours. Really could have used a refreshment(water etc.). The club does not put water in the cart cooler box.

Good overall course
Both times I’ve been it’s been a little empty with just a few other groups around me. The course has some challenging holes that are still fun to play. It winds through an HOA so keep your shots straight. The greens were a little chewed up but only caused an issue on one hole where it hit a bump and turned. Overall a nice course, but I’m not sure it’s worth $70…

Fast round, rough conditions
Surprised to see the course so dry, given the wet winter and spring we had. While I enjoyed the long drives - a 300 yard drive? Not usually, but yes on this round! - I would have liked more grass on the approach shots. The layout is good, which somewhat made up for the dicey conditions..

Course needs lots of TLC
The staff is great but course is not well maintained.

Fair price but average course
The staff was great and the inside of the clubhouse is very nice. The course conditions were not great being in the desert. There is a lot of hard pan and some of the greens were patchy. It certainly penalizes balls off line, of which I hit many (so maybe that’s fair).
The layout was not particularly memorable and it’s not a “pretty course.” Not a bad option for $50-60, but not worth $110+.

Challenging Layout
Stallion allowed me to play with my pushcart (wish there was a discount). Course layout has always been a challenge for me. Greens are slow and need some love. Will play Stallion again but for the right price.

COURSE GOOD, GOLF NOW SUCKS
Its Vegas in May. Hot High 90's, so not many people out there. Played it twice this week. First time, just did the Front 9 twice. Saw very few people. Second round at the 1st tee box, saw NO one around just took off and never saw another soul until like the 15th hole. Dropped an extra ball when I wanted to. Took 2 off the tee and played TWO balls the entire holes other times. Was unable to find other places to play...either above the budget I wanted to play or the GOLF NOW WEBSITE had posted single spots, but they were unavailable due to communication with those tee sheets. NOT JUST ONE DAY BUT FOR THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS THERE. I WOULD FIND A SINGLE TIME, GET ALL THE WAY THRU BOOKING AND AN ERROR WOULD SHOW UP. TEE TIME NOT AVAILABLE. CALLED COURSES AND THEY DID NOT BOOK SINGLES OR IT WAS AVAILABLE THRU THME BUT NOT GOLF NOW. NO USE OF REWARD PASSES, ETC
The INFO in CAPS is for GOLF NOW and their sysytem which they are NOT up to date on the connections with Golf Courses they 'SAY'. DAILY I spent time searching for tee times. Single tee time psoted but when I checked out, I got ERROR. Even calling the course they stated they DID NOT have any of the posted times available...Enjoyed Stallion Mountain

STALLION MTN WAS THE ONLY PLACE I COULD FIND WITH A REASONABLE START TIME. EVERY OTHER COURSE ON THE 'GOLF NOW' WEBSITE WAS INCORRECTLY POSTED - COURSES DN TAKE SINGLES BOOKINGS, THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE COURSES AND 'GOLF NOW' WEBSITES. WAS NOT UPDATED.. DURING A 5 DAY SEARCH FOR PLACES TO PLAY AND RECEIVED A 'CHECKOUT ERROR' EACH TIME I TRIED. THESE TIMES WERE AVAILABLE @ 48/ 36/ 24 AND 12 HOURS AHEAD OF START TIME...AND I AM A GOLF PASS MEMBER.
