About
Stallion Mountain Golf Club is conveniently situated just minutes from the Strip, but this Las Vegas golf course feels much further away thanks to a scenic landscape of towering, mature pines and six sparkling lakes. Over the years the course has hosted several major events including Frank Sinatra's Celebrity Classic and Las Vegas Invitational. It has a versatile layout that offers plenty of variety and shot values, which makes it appealing for a range of different skill levels. The par 4s and par 5s require long, accurate drives but the approach shots will test your iron game. The golf course also features undulating fairways lined with bunkers and water hazards come into play on 10 holes. In addition to the golf course, Stallion Mountain boasts a comprehensive practice facility that includes a 16-acre driving range with 40 tees, five practice putting greens, two chipping greens, and two practice bunkers.

Nice Track; Worth the Hot Deal Price
Got a GREAT price with a GN Hot Deal. Course was in pretty good shape, especially for August in Las Vegas. Greens were in great condition and fast. Played at 7:50 a.m. with another single behind a threesome of locals and the pace of play was excellent - finished 18 holes in just over 3 hours. Nice variety of challenging but fair holes; good choice of tee boxes for any handicap.

Great track
Course was in good shape.. Staff was friendly.. On course beverage cart was frequently and friendly.. Bunkers could have been serviced… They were firm..

Painfully slow
It was a slow, frustrating round in which several groups grew upset with each other because of the painfully slow pace of play. The stunt of the greens played a role — too fast, deceptively fast, which led to too many putts. Also too many tee shots that are in play but dead. Unnecessarily unfair.

Four of us played Stallion Mountain on 7-20-23 and had a fun day. The tees, fairways, and greens were in great shape. The sand traps, which were reworked in the last couple of years, are still in excellent condition. Even the tee area for the driving range has nice grass (something I haven't seen at Revere in quite some time).
The course is challenging, but with 4 tee boxes, it's fair for all handicaps. 5 ponds bring water into play on almost half the holes and create some nice photo opportunities. The short drive from the strip makes it easy for out-of-town visitors to save a few bucks away from the casinos.
Adam (inside) and Antonio (outside), with the clubhouse staff, were friendly and helpful. The beverage cart checked on us 4 or 5 times during our 4-hour round. The food and service was great at the restaurant.
If you've never played here before, you need to try it out. You'll have a good time. We certainly did.

Priced a bit too high for locals
Course was in decent condition and looked like it was being worked on. Prices increased a few months ago and seem a bit high for locals. My group would probably play once or twice a month regularly if it was priced lower. Staff is always great.

Tough Track
This is close to the strip with a range. If you want a day out and to feel some pain play the back and expect every shot to play longer.

Nice layout
Played early 7am to beat the heat got done 3:40. Course is a little rough greens just aerated but was still fun to play. No rough, fast fairways. Thought course was long for seniors, played white at 6000 yards, combo was 5800 and ladies 5400. I would suggest having another forward tee about 4500 for ladies then senior men play 5400. Overall staff friendly and fair price on golf now. Would play again.

Just aerated
Sad to say, was not aware of the aerating. So much sand on the greens. Not happy. Visiting from Mesa AZ.

Good improvements
I haven’t played here in a couple of years. It was in good shape. Greens had been punched recently, so a little bumpy but not unplayable. Bunkers were in good shape with new sand. A little dry, but again for the price it was in good ahape and wide open. Will definitely be back again.

Horrible
We booked for tee time; however, all the greens in each hole were being aired out and was not playable. If this was the case, Stallion golf course shouldn’t even be taking reservations. At least there weren’t many people playing so we had the course almost to our party of 3 but all the greens weren’t playable.
