About
Stallion Mountain Golf Club is conveniently situated just minutes from the Strip, but this Las Vegas golf course feels much further away thanks to a scenic landscape of towering, mature pines and six sparkling lakes. Over the years the course has hosted several major events including Frank Sinatra's Celebrity Classic and Las Vegas Invitational. It has a versatile layout that offers plenty of variety and shot values, which makes it appealing for a range of different skill levels. The par 4s and par 5s require long, accurate drives but the approach shots will test your iron game. The golf course also features undulating fairways lined with bunkers and water hazards come into play on 10 holes. In addition to the golf course, Stallion Mountain boasts a comprehensive practice facility that includes a 16-acre driving range with 40 tees, five practice putting greens, two chipping greens, and two practice bunkers.

Stallion Mtn
I've played this course a couple of times. They have done a lot of things over the past year to improve the course, I was very impressed. The bunkers last year weren't playable, and this year they were great. Very impressed!

I read a previous review that said that they had put a million dollars into the course. Maybe they should have put another million or two.... I hadnt heard good things about it, but based on the review, decided to try. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE. The course was in the poorest shape I have ever seen a course. The t-boxes were uneven, fairways were loaded with divots (they didnt put any sand in our cart....so couldnt repair). After the first hole, I knew I had made a big mistake. The golf carts were new -- so those were nice. Staff was very friendly and the pro shop had a very nice selection. Other than that --- absolutely one of the worst courses I have ever played. Will not be returning.

Really Bad
Showed up for my 11:30 tee time, when over to starter who said they had booked a group of 3 in my slot. The group of 3 showed up with 4 and they allowed them to go off leaving me with no slot. There no openings between that time and 12:30 which is really the latest you can tee off and expect to finish. Very frustrating. I will not return there to play. Too many other courses just as good or better with good customer focus.

Very nice for fifty bucks.
It's a nice course with a very nice club house and bar/lounge area. Driving range, pitching green and putting green were nice and in good shape. Course is well marked however, they do not have any ball washers on the course. Overall it was great for the fifty-two bucks I paid for the round

when in Vegas definitely a great value
easy Uber ride from the stripe 20 minutes tops, Great set of rental clubs Callaway Magnums . they gave me 6 golf balls, I bought a glove and rented the clubs the total cost with the cart was 75 dollars.
Nice greens, true desert layout some water but overall an affordable quality round of golf.

OK Golf Course
They are working on the course. Because of that I did not think it was worth $106 for an out of towner. Locals pay $64 but they can play it a lot so if they pay full price then that is on them.
If they had offered a discount because of the work then I would have been happy with the course.

Bachelor Party Best Ball Round
Course would have been great except most holes had repair patches roped off. Should have given us discounts on green fees due to that. Group of 5 of us playing best ball were waiting on the group in front of us for 16 holes until that group gave up and bypassed the last 2 holes. The course ranger made a snide remark about us not keeping up with the group in front on the last hole. Are you kidding me? He was a grumpy old punk!
