About
Stallion Mountain Golf Club is conveniently situated just minutes from the Strip, but this Las Vegas golf course feels much further away thanks to a scenic landscape of towering, mature pines and six sparkling lakes. Over the years the course has hosted several major events including Frank Sinatra's Celebrity Classic and Las Vegas Invitational. It has a versatile layout that offers plenty of variety and shot values, which makes it appealing for a range of different skill levels. The par 4s and par 5s require long, accurate drives but the approach shots will test your iron game. The golf course also features undulating fairways lined with bunkers and water hazards come into play on 10 holes. In addition to the golf course, Stallion Mountain boasts a comprehensive practice facility that includes a 16-acre driving range with 40 tees, five practice putting greens, two chipping greens, and two practice bunkers.

Stay away
90 degree weather and beverage cart had no water and saw only once on the 3rd hole. Course conditions were absolutely horrible. No yardage markers anywhere no Marshall no working washrooms on the course. No sand in the traps. Wouldn’t recommend this course to my enemies

Good value
Course has a nice layout and difficulty can vary on what tee boxes you play. Overall nice condition and given its 20 kin from the Strip it's priced well

Renovation
Almost all sand traps under construction. Also many parts of the fairways are having new sod installed. We were not advised of these conditions. Would not pay the price that we paid for this course again. Otherwise a nice course.

Improving
Played in February 2022 and course was in rough shape.
They are redoing all bunkers and have laid miles of new sod. Overall in much better condition and will be very good soon. Greens were true and fast as they always have been. Look forward to playing again.

Entire Course Under Construction
We were not advised before we checked in to play that the entirety of the course was under construction. The back nine was literally a construction zone.

Updating
I imagine course was being updated. Grounds work on almost every hole. Pace of play was good until back 9. Some groups had 5-somes. Made finishing the round challenging due to wait times.

Terrible shape
Course is in terrible condition. Would. Not play it again.
Worst course I’ve ever played at
Don’t go to this course worst course I’ve ever played at. They didn’t tell us the course was under construction. They were supposed to pair us up with a twosome, but they didn’t so we had to wait 15 minutes on every Teebox. Bunkers were under construction back nine was under construction grass was dead everywhere. When we asked for a refund they gave us the runaround and they would have to call somebody. We waited for 30 minutes. Nobody showed up waste of time don’t go.

Improved Conditions
Course is much improved since last time I played. Greens were in excellent condition and very fast. Seems like mgt. is trying to upgrade course conditions which is a welcome change. Bunkers are currently being renovated.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!!!
Adam in pro shop very nice so was Kevin handling the carts. GREENS the best I’ve played this year!!! Now here’s the problem the whole course was under construction 🚧. It looked like a mine field!!! Machinery and workers everywhere , ground dug up on the whole course!!!
