About
Stallion Mountain Golf Club is conveniently situated just minutes from the Strip, but this Las Vegas golf course feels much further away thanks to a scenic landscape of towering, mature pines and six sparkling lakes. Over the years the course has hosted several major events including Frank Sinatra's Celebrity Classic and Las Vegas Invitational. It has a versatile layout that offers plenty of variety and shot values, which makes it appealing for a range of different skill levels. The par 4s and par 5s require long, accurate drives but the approach shots will test your iron game. The golf course also features undulating fairways lined with bunkers and water hazards come into play on 10 holes. In addition to the golf course, Stallion Mountain boasts a comprehensive practice facility that includes a 16-acre driving range with 40 tees, five practice putting greens, two chipping greens, and two practice bunkers.

Greens had recently been airated otherwise the course was in great shape. The pace was excellent no pressure.

Great course to play and it’s maintained really good. This course can be very challenging to beginners, so practice before playing.

nice course
Course in good shape and greens were good. Nice layout with enough challenge. Only problem we had was GPS didn't work

From the very beginning the staff was wonderful. The course was in very good shape and the greens well cared for. The cart girl was so nice and funny, a true asset to the club.

Great course Great price Great staff
Been going to Stallion for over a year. Fairways and greens in great conditions. Love the course layout. Some fun par 5's and par 4's. Lots of birdie and eagle opportunities.

Horrible shape
I have never played a course in which they said all the bunkers are under repair. The course is definitely in a state of "don't care, anymore". It's a shame because it can be a nice course when taken care of however it's not. It's not even worth paying over $25 in this state. Just trying to be honest but the tee boxes are the most taken care of part of this course. No cart lady either. Don't bother wasting your money here. You don't get whatever you paid for. Horrible

Course need work
No sand in the traps, newly planted off limits in the middle of some fairways.
Times up
We have played this course many times and have always hoped that it would return to its former condition. Sorry to say it never got done

Not worth the money.
Had a discounted rate for an early tee time, what could be better? The course conditions for sure. Tee boxes were ok, but that was pretty much all. Greens had been punched some time ago, but probably had not been maintenaced since. They were fairly long, slow and bumpy. Fairways were filled with roped off areas and other areas that should have been roped off as there were multiple patches of bare ground. The traps are listed as ground under repair because they are not maintained at all, so much so that it is a local rule that is printed on the scorecard. Course was probably a good course to play when maintained, but it is a long way from being in that kind of condition.

Customer service very lacking
With temps over 100 degrees, there was no beverage cart seen until the 16th hole.
Pro shop staff was very lack luster and standoff-ish.
No one mentioned that the greens were "punched" Our cart died on the 15th hole.
Just an overall very poor experience.

Nice layout, rough conditions
Have played Stallion many times while in Vegas, close to the strip with a reasonable price (for Vegas visitors). Course conditions this trip were very rough, sand traps are unplayable, large areas of ground under repair on almost every hole. ( which I guess is a good thing that they are working on it). On the plus side, still
A very friendly staff, very nice clubhouse, and a very nice layout. Overall, a good value if you want to sneak in a quick round during your visit.
