Stallion Mountain Golf Club

This place is on terrible condition, not even sure it's savable. Could be a great course if they can bring it back to life.

The course has some rough spots and the greens were a little bumpy but overall for the price with a cart it's a great track for a high handicapper. Good course if you just want to get out and hit Instead of using the range

Course was not in good shape, greens were very rough. They should warm people before they book a tree time that the course isn't in good shape.

The course has gone through some tough times in regards to the conditions....it is getting better...

Golf course is absolutely great coming out of the winter months grass is now turning green and grass is growing the greens are growing it's a beautiful course to play but it's only going to get better

This could be a really good course. But needs work. Many dead spots in fairway. Bunkers unplayable. I was told they will be working on bunkers. Greens were in good shape. I would play the course again if they put some work into it.

Had 5 guys in front of us .only 2 of us and they wouldn't let us play through. No Marshall there 2 help us.we ended up playing front 9 twice to get done in 5 hrs instead of 4 hrs.

The bunkers are a complete mess and are declared unplayable by management. The greens are more sand/seed than green. Fairways are a mess, and the rough is just dead grass.

I won’t be coming back here for a very long time. Spend the extra couple bucks and go to Chimera or another course you trust.

The course is really ruff and needs alot of love and alot of hard work. I would not play here again.

This is not exclusive to Stallion Mtn. Since the pandemic the price of golf in Vegas has increased significantly while the course conditions have declined more than usual. Nearly every course in Vegas is overpriced and nearly every course is in crap shape. Grass and weeds growing in bunkers. The fairways are awful, it’s like hitting off hard pan no matter where in the fairway you are. Huge patches of grass missing throughout fairways and greens. Bunkers haven’t seen a rake in two years. Again, not exclusive to Stallion Mtn. If you are golfing in Vegas, expect to play in overall horrible course conditions for very inflated prices. I’ve lived here many years and play very frequently, over the years I’ve played just about every course in town and the last couple years it has really gone downhill city wide. If they don’t want to put in any effort to maintain playable courses so be it, but don’t charge people like it’s Torrey Pines.

This is a great course for beginners and or golfers who need improvement in their development.

Many problems! Sanded & punched greens (which will be a bright spot very soon), poor turf at the driving range, MANY fairways have bald spots. Many cart ruts throughout the course.

I hate being critical but this was the worst conditioned course I believe I have ever played. Greens were punched and sanded with no warning on the website. I can get past that, but not the course conditions. All bunkers were ground under repair and most of the rest of the course had little or no grass. You will have to pick and place every shot. The layout has great potential but just really bad condition. Staff is friendly and the people we played with very nice. Yea lates in 3.5 hours, but can’t post the score as putting was a mess and again had to touch the ball on every shot.

Good Time playing in Desert of Nevada

Course was in horrible shape. Looks like poor maintenance and not change of season maintenance. Very dissatisfied. Would be a great challenging course if in playable condition. Staff very helpful and friendly. And facility very nice.

The staff is extremely friendly and professional the food is really good in the restaurant but then we get to the golf course the fairways are barren you’re constantly hitting off hard pan and there is no sand in the traps the greens they’re a little suspect I don’t understand I played this course several times the past few years I like the layout and I keep thinking it’s going to get better but it’s not

This was my first trip to Stallion Mountain, and I wasn't disappointed. I had a great round with some great people, and didn't feel rushed like I have at other courses in the past. This place is awesome, fairways are wide open, and the greens were very soft. If you enjoy good golf without paying an arm and a leg, do yourself a favor and play this course. I will definitely be back, I might even make this my regular course.
