Arthur Hills at Palmetto Hall Plantation

Really enjoyed my round at Palmetto Hall Arthur Hills. I played from the Blues and found it to be a great challenge. My friend Played from a forward set of tees(Black.Senior?) and had a great time. The layout is plenty challenging for a low handicapper but is also playable for the less skilled player. Its a great break from many of the island courses where every hole looks the same. Most of the holes are different enough that they are memorable. Conditions were good. . Grass still coming in after the longer than normal winter in SC. Good hybrid Bermuda greens, not super fast and a little grainy but tricky. Great finishing hole. Staff quite pleasant, only complaint was. No beverage cart on a 85 degree day. Will return again!

It took nearly three hours to play the front 9. In disgust I and my playing Partners went to the pro shop and requested a refund. They gave it to us.

Didn't love this course. A lot of hidden water hazards with little signage to help find them. Tight landing areas with little to no room to miss tee shots. Greens were nice and rolled well. Ranger was very friendly.

Nice course to play on the Island. Very good value for the price. Course seemed over booked and play was slow.

Greens were not fully grown in spots with some inconsistency in quality. Bunkers need work also.

Overall, we enjoyed the course.

We had a good time playing the Arthur Hills course at Palmetto Hall. Though it was windy & cold, we still had a good time. The course was in good shape, and the greens rolled great. Wish we had seen a beverage cart; saw it pass by when we were checking in, but didn't see it on the course. And, this was a 5 hour round; pace of play was slooooowwww.

For mid-March this layout was in great shape and provided a great day for us. The greens were true and held well. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming.

Course is in reasonable condition. Tough to evaluate with dormant grass conditions. Had several balls roll out into hazards that probably would not have with better grass conditions. Layout ok, but not enough to bring me back too many times. Overall good if you get a decent price, but marginal value at full fare price.

Gents in the pro shop were very personable. Had to pass through two gated roads along the course. Very strange.

Tons of leaves on the back nine. Not very well maintained.

Driving range had few stalls. Most were reserved for members.

Very disappointed with the condition of the course in relation to the green fees.. Won't be going back any time soon..

Fairways in great shape for early in the year. A few spots on a few greens but overall course in great shape. Wide fairways and numerous tees makes the course pretty friendly. That is until you get to the verybinfulsting greens. Put lag putts at a premium dir scoring.

Only draw back was sprinklers on while on several greens and two greens with standing water from over watering.

Great layout poor maintenance this is a great course unfortunately the maintenance in the last two years has gone downhill you do not expect to hit a ball in the fairway and not be able to find it because of the leaves if you attempt to use one of the ball cleaners at the tee boxes your ball will come out dirtier than it went in.

Wonderful golf course, good condition for winter months. Excellent layout with demanding holes from tee to green. Bring your A game
