Wedgefield Golf Club
About
The course at the Wedgefield Golf & Country Club, although suitable for all golfers, is most appropriate for intermediate players. The affordably priced Wedgefield Golf Club used to be known as Rocket City and Cape Orlando. The course has a classic-Florida style layout with medium sized greens that are guarded by bunkers and fairways lined with cypress trees. There is water on the golf course but it is not a significant factor in the game. However, there is one hole, the par-3 sixth hole that is surrounded on three sides by water. Wedgefield Golf & Country Club, in addition to the course, has a chipping area and putting green as well as a golf school.

Our three some was moving at a steady pace finishing the first nine holes in less than two hours. The back nine was a different story as a group of four golfers decided to start on the back nine, jumping in front of us because there was a line on the first tee. It now took two hours to play six holes and then the rain kicked in so we did not finish the round. A ranger on this course would've been helpful.
Bogey
Weather was great. Course in excellent condition. One of the better courses that I have played recently. 🇺🇸👍🏌️♀️
Wedgefield
I have played Wedgefield a number of time and the condition is pretty good. The green are really good.
WEDGEFIELD .......Fun course Simple Layout, Great Condition
Wedgefield continues to improve over the past few years. Nice fun layout, good greens, and well maintained......some muddy spots & a few muddy bunkers, but what do you expect after a major Hurricane? Thanx to GolfNow for the Hot Deals, but the staff at Wedgefield is totally welcoming. Play today did not yield much rollout, but I still played well. A few 1-putts & good chips resulted in nice score, duece/Birdie #4 helped, but long par 4s like #15 are like Par5s for me. Nice restaurant here too for 19th Hole. ....worth the drive east of Orlando!
This course is great if your getting into golf
wide fairways and nice greens. Only con is that some holes dont have a hole stake and cart path is a little hard to follow other than that its great!
SLow Monday Greens
Didn't know that they don't cut the greens on Monday. Will not play on Mondays here again as the greens were slower than I prefer when playing.
Great improvements!
Been coming here for years always been a cheap subpar condition course but worth it for the price. They bumped up the price and I see why now! Much better corse conditions!
Course is in very good shape
Played it 2 weeks after Hurricane Milton came through and there was no noticeable damage. Greens were very nice; putted fairly fast and very true. Fairways were a little spotty, but all in all also very nice.
Honest and straight
With dryer golf course , the course is more normal.. Honest for the price.
Will play it again!
Very friendly and cordial staff.
Well maintain fairways and traps.
Overall: I truly enjoyed my round and will play the course again.
Wet but recovering well
The course is wet and has some areas beat up but it is recovering nicely. The course is in good shape, greens are wet and bumpy for putting. Temporary t-boxes, back nine is much wetter.
Same crappy course with improved greens
This course has not changed, same crappy fairways. Played it many times five years ago and yet the course only improvement was the greens. The bunkers still have no sand and are in terrible shape. No range balls available before start of round. If you enjoy playing golf I recommend staying away. Waist of time. The pro shop workers were a pleasure and very professional.
Hi, Thank you for your feedback. From the first of November the greens will either be mowed or rolled each day.
thank you
