Wedgefield Golf Club

The course had had their greens recently punched and the club was very open about that, which is not always the norm round here. It had rained heavily the night before which meant we were cart path only so it made the round a little longer than it should have. I have played here many times, and the course itself was not up to its usual standard with many tees lacking grass and little definition of fairways. It is a very enjoyable layout, but I wonder if they’re letting their standards slip because they think they’re a top notch club in Orlando, and have forgotten how they got there.

Played part of the front with a couple of twenty somethings which was pleasant until they left after nine.Back was closed when I started but opened before I made the turn. All greens had recently been pirated which made putting a guess and the fairways were dry and lumpy. But I wasn't hiting it well so it didn't really effect my game.

They just punched holes in the fairways because the surface was very dry and hard. The greens are absalutely exellent.

Bit far from Orlando core, but worth a round with replay of $20 making it great value for golfers who want to play 36 holes!

Like many Florida courses, at the end of the dry season they are hardpan. The greens were in good shape and a low, hard shot would roll forever.

Once the fairway grass comes back, it will be a nice course to play.

Course is very dry and hard but they keep the greens in very good condition. I miss the resaurant.
