Clubhouse and Staff are Excellent
MBN is a great facility. Pro shop, staff and the rangers are very nice and help at any turn. MBN West course was just okay. The course was dry and the layout was a little underwhelming. The bunkers could use way more sand and the tee boxes look like your town muni course. For the price, $160 for 2 players, I was expecting much better conditions.
Course was burned up
Course was burned up, fairways were dead. The course is not like it was a few years ago. The greens were patchy with dead spots.
Course was in poor shape for the cost
Hopefully it’s not the norm. But the fairways were practically dirt. And the greens were torn up on a lot of the holes. Not a great course for the cost.
Man weat
Course conditions were very good. Greens, fairways and bunkers well prepped and maintained
Some tees need addressimg
Enjoyed Experience
Showed up to play with a non playing partner and was paired with a local threesome which helped with the courses layout. The course is in good condition from tee to green, everyone from the cart staff to starters were very accommodating. I would recommend.
Nice Course
The course was in great condition. The greens were a little slower than expected but probably due to late in the day.
They rolled true.
Unfortunately we only got nine holes in due to an unexpected rain storm. The staff was very helpful and issued rain checks. Overall the staff was very nice.
Beautiful
Great cours all around nice staff well kept course, cool pro shop/ club house with Arnold Palmer memorabilia that any golf fan would love to see from such a legend. Would definitely go back!
Almost great ....
Would have been a 5 star rating, but the pace of play on the back nine was SLOW (2 or 3 groups waiting on every tee box) and the bunkers were awful (lost a golf ball in a greenside bunker bc of standing water and mud). Fairways, greens and tee boxes all in excellent shape. Course layout was scorable and nice for a fun round. For $65 on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, I'm glad I played and would recommend the course, just beware there are a few things you need to consider.
