On your next Las Vegas golf trip, make sure to put Chimera Golf Club at the top of the list of "must plays." Opened in July 2003, Chimera Golf Club (previously known as Tuscany Golf Club) is one of the newer golf courses in Las Vegas.

This Ted Robinson Jr design just minutes away from The Strip measures 6,757 yards from the tips and features 68 white-sand bunkers and enough water hazards to make you wish you brought your beach towel.

Chimera Golf Club will test the skills of low handicappers, but four sets of tees make it accessible to novice golfers. Overall, Chimera Golf Club is an enjoyable, entertaining round of golf in a truly beautiful setting.

Clubhouse:Chimera Golf Club’s centerpiece is a spacious 31,000 square foot Old World Tuscan Village which features a golf retail store, a pub and fine dining restaurant as well as banquet and meeting facilities. An expansive 4,000 square foot patio offers incredible views of the golf course, mountains and Las Vegas Strip. Golfers can take advantage of outdoor dining or just relax after an enjoyable round.

Great Course

Always in good shape, but can be busy. We started 30 minutes late and waited at every hole. Took us 2.5 hours plus for first 9. We replayed front nine again in 90 minutes instead of waiting on back nine.

Great fit for players of all skill levels, great views of the strip and mountains, always plays well and is definitely one of the best values (looks and plays better than the rate) in the Valley.

Our pace of play was right at 4 hours, greens rolled true and I always enjoy playing Chimera. Great friendly staff and well outfitted Pro Shop.

Absolutely Terrible Experience

Management is the worst part about this place. They schedule soccer on the course at the same time there’s golfers. Six groups backed up on one hole. Almost 1 hour to go through two holes. Pro shop took no accountability no apology. They have a bad reputation for a reason.

The right way to handle a situation is to profusely apologize and take accountability. But instead, they shrugged their shoulders. The staff even admits it’s an ongoing problem that they face and a constant complaint. Thanks for ruining everyone’s Saturday!

I played this course for the 3rd time in my life 20 years ago 4 years ago and recently.It was fine considering the way others have been this year but it was in better condition 4 years ago. It's by far in the best shape of anything we've played this visit. Boulder Creek was in awful condition in comparison.
