The Classic Club

A beautiful, interesting, challenging course in great condition. I will definitely try to play here the next time I am in town.

Wonderful course with scenic waterfalls, islands, and water everywhere in the shadow of the mountains. Great layout. Played from white tees at recommendation of starter who claimed "the course plays longer than the card". In fact the course plays much shorter. I used a hybrid to tee of Don 5 holes and a 3metal on three others. Great staff. Did not feel rushed or harried. Round for foursome took 4:10. Would play this course again in a heartbeat, but from the blues.

Weather was perfect with little wind. The Classic Club has long been one of my favorites in the desert. Fast true greens, and a course in great condition with a good lunch and towel thrown in every time we play.

It will always be on my playlist when I visit.

Great course and in excellent condition I gave it all 5 star ratings but only 3 on value for money as it is so so expensive.

The entire staff and Classic Club was friendly, attentive and obviously proud of their magnificent facility. The course played great and as described by the starter.

Heed the advice of playing away from the water as the fairways slope more than normal to the water hazards.

Only reason for course conditions rating was they are getting ready to overseed so the sprinklers had been turned off for a few days already prior to our play date. The course was pretty dry and greens a bit shaggy as a result but definitely playable…just not it’s usual beauty shape however.

Course layout is great, and some holes are very appealing. A few fairways were/have been under repair and showed distress, new patches, or brown dead areas. Greens not bad for the most part - some silly pin placements, and covered in brown dead grass. Plays longer than expected, and many approaches are difficult. Would like to play again when pricing is reasonable.

Course was incredible in shape. Played in three hours and a half. I would play it every day if I lived here.

Made good friends with Bryan. He was amazing and could alone be the reason why this course is rated five stars. They finished taking care of their greens a couple of weeks ago so it’s still healing but they roll like glass lol.

Overall great condition and helpful staff. Great value for your money.

Once the staff finishes with the greens, this course would be perfect. They were a couple of weeks out from doing regular maintenance on the greens so they were a little grainy. The staff was fantastic and the food at the restaurant was excellent. Loved the course layout. I am a 14 handicap and broke 90. This course was much more difficult that what I play at home, but as you can see by my score, was fair. Fairways are generous, but you need to stay in them, LOL. I would recommend, especially if you can get a hot deal.

As always the course was in great condition. Few brown spots in the fairways but nothing major to change my opinion of the course. Greens were rolling nice. The course is tough when the wind picks up but still a great course.
