About
On the Classic Club's scenic landscape, golfers will find a wide variety of trees including olive trees, towering pines, and California pepper, but unlike the many other golf courses in Palm Springs, there isn't a single palm tree. The Classic Club opened in 2006 to much acclaim and has since garnered a following amongst locals and visitors. Formerly a host site for the Bob Hope Classic, the challenging layout has an interesting mix of tour-worthy holes including intimidating par 3s balanced by reachable par-5s and short par-4s. Water hazards come into play on 13 holes. The back nine begins with a memorable stretch of holes. The par-4 10th is a tight driving hole with an elevated green and the 11th hole requires a shot over water. The stretch ends with the par-3 12th, which also plays over water to a well protected green.

One of the best desert courses
Course was very well maintained with a great design. Staff was helpful and friendly. Price is a little steep at over $200, but as somebody who has played many courses in the palm springs area, this is easily one of the nicest courses in the desert.
Fantastic course
Excellent course in top condition. PAce of play good at just under 4 hours. Good green fee rate through troon golf including meal vouchers we used for dinner. Would highly recommend
Best I’ve Played
Can’t say much other than it’s my new favorite! Layout, meh. Condition, WOW! Amenities, dialed. Worth every penny EXCEPT my buddy who booked through the course got a free bag towel and a $25 drink/food voucher with his round - I did not “because I booked through GolfNow”. Staff wouldn’t budge on even a complimentary towel so that was a bummer.

Over all excellent course. Well maintained
All holes nicely spaced out with wide fairways, very well maintained. Carts are new with GPS. Would definitley play again. $165/rd came with $25 food voucher and golf towel. All employees friendly and helpful. Good pace at 4:15/rd
A little disappointed
Being December, didn’t expect perfect conditions, but there were a few areas on/around fairways that were a little rough. In addition, the greens were very slow due to excessive moisture from over watering (8:00 tee time contributed). Very friendly staff. $150 green fee (through golfnow) still a bit much vs cost/quality of other course I played the same trip.
Beautiful Course with Great Maintenance n Staff Freiendly
This beautiful golf has the best layout and great course maintenance. The staff are very helpful n friendly. They also offer $25 food voucher for each player. The food here are delicious too.
Great coursee
A beautiful, interesting, challenging course in great condition. I will definitely try to play here the next time I am in town.
A Desert Beauty
Wonderful course with scenic waterfalls, islands, and water everywhere in the shadow of the mountains. Great layout. Played from white tees at recommendation of starter who claimed "the course plays longer than the card". In fact the course plays much shorter. I used a hybrid to tee of Don 5 holes and a 3metal on three others. Great staff. Did not feel rushed or harried. Round for foursome took 4:10. Would play this course again in a heartbeat, but from the blues.
Always a good play
Weather was perfect with little wind. The Classic Club has long been one of my favorites in the desert. Fast true greens, and a course in great condition with a good lunch and towel thrown in every time we play.
It will always be on my playlist when I visit.
