The Classic Club

If you find a better course in the desert call me up- this course was amazing. Course was in perfect condition no complaints just perfection- greens rolled great. Scenery was perfect. If you love an amazing course - no houses- then this course if for you. Great range and practice facility - all included. Every hole was more scenic than the next. A couple holes on the back with water carries on second shot were as perfect as a golf hole as you can get. My favorite course I have played in the desert and I have played some of the nicer clubs.

only two complaints- beer selection was sub par and maybe a little more sand in bunkers. other than 100/100.

We played 18 in 3:30 and the course was in great condition. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I am considering a troon card and playing here more often. $225 rate for an 7:10am rate included a 25.00 lunch voucher. Restaurant was excellent.

The pro shop is staffed by people who do not want to be there.

The guy putting our clubs on the carts and taking them off was very friendly. Also very nice and helpful.

He suggested we hurry to get a drink as the restaurant closed in 30 minutes. We hurried over and sat for 15 minutes waiting for a server. I checked with the bartender and she said she would try to find a server. When one finally came over she didn’t want to take our order and just dropped menus we did not want. We decided to leave and the hostess continued to ignore the four of us as we walked out.

This place obviously needs new management and maybe a staff member or two in the clubhouse who cares.

Would be a tough course for higher handicap players. All fairways are quite undulating, a ton of water on the course as well as strategically placed fairway bunkers. Bunkers surround every hole and greens are quite fast. Very tough to hold almost any type of approach shot and danger surrounds almost all greens. Cart staff very friendly! Played 18 in about 4.5 hrs.

Beyond beautiful with water features on every hole. Course conditions were perfect with blooming flowers everywhere. Tee boxes ranged from black to orange. We played purple and Alphonso and Ken played Blue. Great golf shop. A little confusing about where to find clubs at end of round.

As a Southern California resident I’ve been golfing in and around Palm Desert for years I made the mistake of waiting to play here. This is a must play if you’re looking to finally test your skills. Beautiful desert gem, incredible how sitting alone off the freeway this unassuming course fits beautifully in this landscape. It is true to its name Classic!

Course was very well maintained with a great design. Staff was helpful and friendly. Price is a little steep at over $200, but as somebody who has played many courses in the palm springs area, this is easily one of the nicest courses in the desert.

Excellent course in top condition. PAce of play good at just under 4 hours. Good green fee rate through troon golf including meal vouchers we used for dinner. Would highly recommend

Can’t say much other than it’s my new favorite! Layout, meh. Condition, WOW! Amenities, dialed. Worth every penny EXCEPT my buddy who booked through the course got a free bag towel and a $25 drink/food voucher with his round - I did not “because I booked through GolfNow”. Staff wouldn’t budge on even a complimentary towel so that was a bummer.

All holes nicely spaced out with wide fairways, very well maintained. Carts are new with GPS. Would definitley play again. $165/rd came with $25 food voucher and golf towel. All employees friendly and helpful. Good pace at 4:15/rd

Being December, didn’t expect perfect conditions, but there were a few areas on/around fairways that were a little rough. In addition, the greens were very slow due to excessive moisture from over watering (8:00 tee time contributed). Very friendly staff. $150 green fee (through golfnow) still a bit much vs cost/quality of other course I played the same trip.
