About
On the Classic Club's scenic landscape, golfers will find a wide variety of trees including olive trees, towering pines, and California pepper, but unlike the many other golf courses in Palm Springs, there isn't a single palm tree. The Classic Club opened in 2006 to much acclaim and has since garnered a following amongst locals and visitors. Formerly a host site for the Bob Hope Classic, the challenging layout has an interesting mix of tour-worthy holes including intimidating par 3s balanced by reachable par-5s and short par-4s. Water hazards come into play on 13 holes. The back nine begins with a memorable stretch of holes. The par-4 10th is a tight driving hole with an elevated green and the 11th hole requires a shot over water. The stretch ends with the par-3 12th, which also plays over water to a well protected green.

Great Course
From the staff, course conditions and pace of play, it was a great day
I booked tee time on golfnow for Wednesday by mistake...I thought I was booking Tues. 100% my fault. I went out on Tue anyway and they accommodated me.! I had read about their customer service and they delivered. Best course I played on my visit (I played 8 courses. Top shelf in every category!
Good layout course
Book for 7 golfers 3 players pairings with one player not part of the group. My friend asked for separation golf cart. The starter tells him talk to the pro shop. My friend have to pay $30 for separat cart. That is not right. With the covin situation. Don't believe they did that. Never play this course again
Classic Club
The course and staff are 5 stars all the way!!! Conditions could not be better. Had lunch after at the restaurant and the food and service were fantastic. We will be back.

Great course
I have heard that this course is hard when the wind is blowing, but I played on a very calm day. I played from the men's white tees.
It was challenging for me, but fair. I would play here again in a heart beat.

Typical Troon property. We’ll maintained, excellent staff. Recommend highly.
Perfect. Check the forecast first.
Just make sure the wind isn't howling before you go and you'll have a great time. There are more trees and lakes here than any desert course I can recall, and if it hadn't been 100F we may have forgotten where we were. Add in plenty of strategic hills and bunkers and you've got the perfect course. Interesting greens and plenty of teeing options. Excellent restaurant and bar also. Perfect day.
Beautiful course and facilities
Excellent value for this beautiful course.
It included lunch coupon and beautiful complimentary golf towels.
Staff were excellent and friendly from valet to starter to Marshall, cart assistant with beverages who came around at least 3 times, to restaurant staff.
Lunch was fabulous and such a great deal with the voucher. Outstanding seafood salad.
The course was lovely and so enjoyed playing here.
Will definitely return for both golf and/or lunch.
