Terrific and scenic golf course. Great staff from the cart barn to the waitresses. Sherrie was friendly and caring. I felt right at home. Only negative was the slowness of the greens, but I believe they had recently been scalped or aeriated.

Got to the tee prior to my starting time, saw a few groups there.......no starter. Had to ask the cart guy that checked me in who is was paired with, found I was playing alone, sandwiched between two foursomes, and two groups ahead of them. Needless to say, waited on every hole, group behind me started acting like idiots, not very pleasant. For as much as they get for green fees, when the greens are in less than good conditions........think they might want to have a starter setting groups and pace. Doesn’t seem that they care at all. Not the Troon I know.

It was a fun course to play with a nice back drop of the mountains. Good practice facility. The pace of play was great. The only knock was that some of the greens were very bumpy. Overall, it was a nice course and I would play it again.

I’ve been touring around the public courses in Palm Springs for the past few months. None have been as enjoyable as Classic Club. It’s such a creative routing with challenging moments and ample opportunities for risk/reward. Staff were friendly and professional. Great value for the money.

Staff suñer friendly and impeccable course conditions

We had a good time for relaxing even we had a bad golf score. Nice course!!

I have always loved Classic Club. The course is fantastic, the staff is friendly and helpful, and they give good value with a towel, lunch coupon and special price on Pro V1s. Unfortunately, they have let the course condition deteriorate and it really detracts from the experience. They didn’t overseed any of the rough and it’s like hard pan if you get off the fairway. Other maintenance seems to have been shortchanged as well. As much as I’ve always loved it, I can’t recommend it in its current condition.

Very well organized operation. Enjoyed the variance of the holes. Great lunch afterwards. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the day very much.

The longer more difficult holes were easy to read but challenging to approach. The greens fast, true and hard. The shorter holes is where he really challenges you. A lot of the fairways were cut so that a decent shot would not get held up by any rough and end up in the water...

The course is in immaculate condition, the staff really attentive, and the day was perfect...

Classic golf is an annual favorite for us and the course is a great track. Interesting and challenging golf set with beautiful views of the mountains. The wind can always be a factor here it makes the course even more Challenging. Always worth while playing.

Been a few years since I played the CC but it does not disappoint. The course is a great layout very creative with a great combination of long and short holes. There were some small grass issues around but the greens were terrific. The free meal is not to be missed. Great breakfast sandwiches and burritos, best around.

This has always been one of our fave PS courses. Very disappointed with our recent visit. Course condition has really fallen off. Fairway perimeters have been burned off. Greens have new turf around edges. Im sure this is the reality of many courses where water mgmt is nb to survive. Desert Willow is a WAY better choice, I'm sad to report.
