Chariot Run

I was excited to play Chariot run until I played a few holes. Course condition was suspect, and the sand traps were average at best. Golfers are challenged with several blind shots that are very difficult. Aiming points are non-existent and make many of the blind shots unfair. I personally will not be playing this course again unless prices are dropped considerably.

This is a high quality course. Layout is very challenging, The greens are the fastest I have played on, which makes this course extremely challenging. To play this course for around $30 is a great value. This course, if located in a golf resort area would cost well over $100.

This course was in great shape. It is very challenging and had the fastest greens I have ever played. Although it was tough, I really enjoyed playing it. I hope to play it again soon.

So a little gold trip to southern Indiana included this gem that wasn't even on our list. What started as a weekend of playing Both Champions Point and Covered Bridge, both of which are Fuzzy Zoeller designs. My father and I ended up not playing either because of aerating. So our hotel recommended Chariot Run. This was by far the best recommendation of the weekend. We were blown away by how awesome this place is. For a links style course it is very well laid out and is a must play when visiting the Louisville area. Even though it is $59 compared to the $85 at the aforementioned courses, I would say that it is not only a better value, but it is a better course than either of the two.

The course was in fantastic shape yet again! always a fun course.

My uncle came in from South Carolina so we wanted to play a nice course. We had a great time. As long as you stay away from the fairway bunkers it was great. It looked like they were adding a pond to the par 3 on the back and the workers in front of the green were distracting but overall it was awesome.

The course was great. The fairways are so nice I think you could putt the ball all the way to the green. Will be back real soon

Doesn't matter when you play, the course is always in terrific shape. Greens are always immaculate. Layout gives you a tough but fair test. One of the best in the Louisville area.

I was the first one off in the morning so pace of play was not an issue. Course was in great shape and greens were good and fast. Only issue is golfers seems to forget to fill diviots and ball marks on the greens.

Once you lose all your money at the Horseshoe Casino. Ensure you have about $100 and head over to Chariots Run. Excellent everything. It will ease the pain of your gambling losses. On a scale of 1 to 10, chariots run is an 11

This trac is a gem. Bent grass fairways never need an improved lie. Greens will be getting before with more growth. Well Maintained.

Reserved as single, but gents I played with were awesome. Course, fairways and greens, were in great condition considering all the flooding in the area recently. Highly recommend Chariot Run if you get the opportunity.

This is a very nice course. Serious golfers that are lower handicaps will definitely like this course. Higher handicap players will struggle with the landing areas off the tee but can still enjoy the best greens in Indiana and Kentucky.

This Course is always in good shape and the fees are are a good value. Quiet, pretty rural surroundings, and there is a tee for all levels of play.

Course in perfect shape. Good price on Golf now. weather was perfect. very challenging.

As always the course was in immaculate condition. The greens are super fast, take it from a 3 handicapper. Which results in a lot of 3-4 putts from those high handicappers which seems to allow for the slow pace of play. But it also gives you time to take in the view of a beautiful course. I will continue to play this Horseshoe casino course. Hats off to Chariot Run golf course.

Upon arriving at the course you can tell how nice the course actually is. The fairways were perfectly manicured as was the greens. Actually the driving range was nicer then most of the courses I usaually play.

The course is a very hard course I recommend packing extra balls if your not a decent golfer or a straight hitter. The greens were the fastest I have ever putted on right around 11 on the S.T.I.M.P.

All that being said I had a blast at this golf course and would highly recommend this course to anyone. There is a reason this was voted one of the best courses to play in 2014!!
