DO NOT PLAY-Worst course in Jax
Wasted $70 to “play” this course, STAY AWAY. Greens are full of sand and dirt, the clubhouse is under renovation, and there’s live construction on hole 10. You’ll find better greens at a municipal course (Brentwood/Blue Cypress) while paying a fraction of what they’re charging here. If you are considering this course, DON’T. You’re better off spending your money at a driving range.
Getting there
Fairways are good for this time of year. They are working on the greens in many places for the most part, though the greens are in fairly poor shape and really are so untrue. It is very hard to putt anywhere near consistently. . I believe that in a few months the conditions could be a lot better. If they keep up the work that they’re doing until that point I think they should decrease the fees a bit. I would also like to see them initiate senior citizen rates during the week I look forward to playing there in the near future when greens conditions improve
Thank you for your review.
Course and clubhouse facelift
I was unaware of the work being done on the course as well as the club house , so it was a disappointing round of golf. I have been golfing here for the past few years and normally enjoy the round of golf. I’m sure it will be much better when they finish with the facelift to the clubhouse ,and the course have to wait til next year !
Thank you for your review.
Steve
Cimarron is one of my favorite courses.
However, the greens looked as if a fungus took over, they weren’t cut and were bumpy. Never saw the greens that bad.

Greens are Awful
I played in March and the greens were looking pretty good, but during my last round on April 11th the greens were in terrible condition, with more (green) dirt than actual grass on some holes.
Thank you for your review.
Nice Course, But Greens need HELP
Nice course. However, the greeens are in horrible shape.
Thank you for your review.
Greens Warning
Greens were pretty rough in spots, including some that were recently sodded. Could've at least listed on Golf Now that the greens were recently worked on. In truth, need to shut this course down for a month or two to let them come in before summer.
Thanks for the review.
So Bad!
Terrible greens! Don't make the same mistake we did -- avoid this course!
Thanks for the review.
Greens suck
No way they should be charging $68 a round to play 1/2 course... some greens are actually newly sodded. Shouldn't even have those holes open.
Thanks for the review.
Terrible Greens.
They are charging to much for play with greens that are in terrible shape. They should let people know that the greens are not playable.
DO NOT PLAY HERE — TERRIBLE GREENS
Usually this course is in average condition and a decent value, but over half of the green have been lost. Some had huge sections of new sod, some were mostly sand, and a few were OK. No warning from GolfNow or the course prior to playing either.
The course does provide a free drink ticket, but it can’t be used on the course… only after the round.
Won’t be playing here any time soon.
Thanks for the review.
The greens are terrible.
Oh lord the greens need major work. Stay away from this place.
Thanks for your feedback.
Thank you for your review.
Thanks so much for the 5-stars!
Really great course for the price
My son and his golfing teammate went out to practice at this course before a tournament they had the next day. The tee boxes and fairways were great. The greens were being worked on but like most of the greens in the area it was like plinko - they were all sanded and splotchy. I guess that’s what it’s like living in paradise! Otherwise it really is a nice challenging course to play.
