Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan - Oak Glen
About
Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan (formerly known as Sycan Resort) offers two 18-hole championship courses, Oak Glen and Willow Glen, as well as a 9-hole, par-3 course. The courses are tucked into a valley, surrounded by mountains and sloping hillsides that provide stunning backdrops on almost every hole. The Sweetwater River runs through the Oak Glen Course, coming into play on several holes including the memorable fifth hole, which is definitely a contender for one of the best par 4s in San Diego. This challenging hole requires an accurate drive across the river. The gently rolling terrain is sprinkled with mature trees. The layout features undulating greens and tight fairways. It is a challenging golf course but it is generally forgiving off of the tees, which makes it slightly less difficult than the hillier Willow Glen Course from Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan.

Solid course - challenging but fair and in great shape
Course was in great condition. Greens were a little long but were consistent, new trees planted across the entire course. Restaurant/bar is great to relax at after the round and the staff is excellent! Its the best in East County and a top ten in San Diego
Great round of golf
Always a great course to play but the rates have made it harder to play often. This was a great deal for a great course!
Great Round
The course was in very good condition and the staff was friendly. I've played all three courses numerous times and have never had a bad experience. Give it a try, you won't be sorry.
Overall great round, BUT.....
I've been noticing a trend happening at many courses I play and I noticed this happening at Sycuan as well during this last round...
I noticed a 6some...1st time I ever seen that..Ever. After I saw the 6some, a few holes later, I noticed a 5some on another tee box!
This really has to stop. Pace of play is slow enough let alone allowing 5somes and now seeing 6somes is absolute nonsense.
Golf Now Bargain
As a guest at the resort they were charging me $69 a round , on golf now it was $32 !
Excellent Value!
Fun round, nice people, good value, only 4 1/2 hours playing time. What more could you ask!
excellent day
played as a single and got paired up with two nice guys. the course was in good shape, a great value at the Golf Now price. greens were a little slow but good. a good round at a good price in just under four hours.
Oak-Willow
I played at Willow on Feb 24 though my reservation was made at Oak. This does not matter at all because I know both courses well. I played at Oak a few weeks ago. It looked that the fairway condition at Oak was better than at Willow this time. The grass is dormant at Willow and there were some bare spots. I hope the recent rain will recover the grass and the condition.
However both courses are always fun and well maintained generally every time I play.
Nice cloudy day
Enjoy playing Oak Glen course.Conditions of course were very good. I was a single player therefore pace of play for me was slow. I got some extra practice with chips and putts.
Always a great round here.
Conditions are always good and my friends loved the greens. They stick and putt well. They take really good care of these courses.
Overall very nice course
I've played here severa times..Always nice staff and gets us out on time if not early. One thing I would recommend is make sure to check and see if there is a tournament before booking your tee time. This could be a time saver for you if you like your pace of play to be appropriate.
A couple of times I have been right behind tournament play and a 4 hour round ended up being 5 hours.
Perfect weather
Great deal on a beautiful day. The staff is super friendly and helpful from the pro shop to the starter. No where better in San Diego
You can't predict your pairing when playing alone!
Longest day of my life on the golf course!!
Paired with three very nice, but physically and athletically challenged seniors. Who simply were unable to keep up with the pace of play.
The marshal did his best to prod them, even pushed a couple of groups through ours, but nothing seemed to motivate these guys to speed it up.
I shot 2 over on the front nine, but mentally I cracked on the back nine shooting a 45!! Just couldn't handle it!!!
Put this on your list
This is an excellent course for the money. The best greens I have seen in a while. 4 hours and 10 minutes for the round.
Always Love Syquan
Played here several times. Guess it is due to drought the course has become easier to play. No rough anymore. Only complaint, is like most public courses, slow play. My round was 5 hours.
Great Value and Experience
The course was in good shape, despite the high winds!
A couple of tee boxes had some tree issues that could have been solved with some maintenance.
The greens were fast and in great shape.
The hot deal rate was a GREAT value!
