About
Willow Glen is one of two 18-hole championship courses at Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan (formerly known as Sycuan Resort), which also boasts an 18-hole, par-3 course. Nestled in a valley between lush hillsides, the golf courses all offer stunning mountain views. The mountains also help to block the wind, which allows for more agreeable playing conditions. Willow Glen is slightly more challenging than the other championship course due to a hillier terrain and more fairways that are tightly lined with mature pines, oaks, and cottonwoods. The trees shape the landing zones and add definition to the doglegs. Proper placement off the tees is necessary for doing well on this course. Contoured mounding borders the greensides as well as more than 40 bunkers. Water also comes into play on six holes. The 11th through the 15th holes are an impressive stretch that presents a variety of challenges as well as unrivaled scenery.

Course is in good shape
Course is in good shape although greens are pretty slow. Seemed like more drunk hacks than usual and didn’t see any Marshall’s which probably had to do with the slow pace of play, but what are you gonna do

Nice course but over-priced
The course layout was nice and the tee boxes, fairways and greens were in good shape. The pace of play was very slow, sometimes up to three groups waiting on a tee box. For the high price tag, I would expect better pace of play.

Solid Course
This course is nice, there was nobody there on the Sunday afternoon that I played. Very walkable, only hill is between 2 and 3 or 3 and 4, I forget which, but after that it’s flat. Greens were pretty slow so bring your sledgehammer.

Beautiful day of golf. Would have liked a little quicker greens, but overall the course was as nice as I’ve ever seen it!
Singing Hills is a must play!
If you haven't played Singing Hills in awhile like me, you're really missing out. The fairways and greens are in great condition.
Nice course but pace of play is slow
Condition is good, green is slower than expected, and pace of play is very slow.

Excellent course (Willow Glen). Started at 3pm, so I expected rough greens and tee boxes - I was wrong. Fairways were in great condition. Greens had no dry patches and little to no divots . Bunkers well raked. Practice greens was well maintained.
Cons: can’t hit drivers at the driving range - it was short. Course could do better with directions to the next hole. Having a par3 9th and 18th hole, especially the 18th hole, felt empty. The 18th wasn’t hard (I parted it) but it was plain and didn’t leave a lasting impression.
Overall: I will play it again. I’ll try the other 18 hole and par3 courses.
Great day at Sycuan
The afternoon was perfect, except for I forgot much of the course after ten years. I lost every ball in my bag to water hazards I couldn't see from the tees. Oh well, I finished with some used ones and didn't let it spoil a great afternoon.
