Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan - Willow Glen
About
Willow Glen is one of two 18-hole championship courses at Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan (formerly known as Sycuan Resort), which also boasts an 18-hole, par-3 course. Nestled in a valley between lush hillsides, the golf courses all offer stunning mountain views. The mountains also help to block the wind, which allows for more agreeable playing conditions. Willow Glen is slightly more challenging than the other championship course due to a hillier terrain and more fairways that are tightly lined with mature pines, oaks, and cottonwoods. The trees shape the landing zones and add definition to the doglegs. Proper placement off the tees is necessary for doing well on this course. Contoured mounding borders the greensides as well as more than 40 bunkers. Water also comes into play on six holes. The 11th through the 15th holes are an impressive stretch that presents a variety of challenges as well as unrivaled scenery.

Great conditions, nice course, bluetooth cart speakers!!!
Great conditions, friendly staff, nice simple course layout, bluetooth cart speakers!!! Highly recommended if you find a tee time deal!
Great condition for the fairways, but slow on greens.
Great condition for the fairways, but slow on greens.
I had to wait too long for next holes every holes. But I enjoyed it very much.
Really Solid Track
This is a really solid track. Nice layout, well maintained, and pace of play was terrific. On and off course amenities and staff are first rate. Will be back!
Great round
We walked for $55. Other than two steep hills the rest of the course was very walkable. Marshall tried to push us but we had 4 walkers. Sorry everyone behind us. The course was in good shape but the tee boxes looked like rough. Greens were great but looked a lot faster than they were. Overall always love playing Sycuan
Pleasant round in beautiful setting
As always the course was in very good shape, the pace of play fine, and the level of challenge as advertised—not the hardest ever, but far from easy. Several of the holes are classics, such as the fourth (if memory serves as to number) on which you have an elevated tee shot down to a multitude choice landing area leaves you with various potential approach shots across water to a protected green,(my approach found a trap)..
Tee Boxes are only complaint
The staff, greens condition, fairways, all in good shape. My only complaint would be the tee boxes are not groomed short enough. For driving holes, it makes it especially less favorable otherwise, good track.
Nice course
Its a nice course but there are many greens in need of repair. There is a good amount of trouble on many holes and need to be straight off the tee.
Best condition of the year
Willow Glen #14 is still under repair and is a temp green. Otherwise, tee boxes, fairways and greens are in best condition I've seen this year.
Bad conditions and profits over safety
Greens were wildly inconsistent. On several holes fairway grass was deeper than rough. Pace of play was surprised good on Black Friday. Tried to force us to share carts because they booked a tournament on busiest day of year.
Cart Paths Only
Recently overseeded, didn't know before we got there. Cart paths only, delayed play but still had a great time.
Unbelievably Slow Pace of Play
Beautiful course, but the pace of play was ridiculous. We were over an hour behind our rate of play by the time we finished. Started at noon and did not even finish a full 18 by the time it got dark. We waited at least 15-20 minutes on every hole. Liked the course, but will not be coming back due to how long a round takes. I could not imagine paying 125$ to play here with how overbooked the course is. Save your money and play at Cottonwood down the street instead.
Poor pace of play
This might be my fault for booking this course on a holiday (Veterans Day). Very packed, the Marshall even told us that it was over booked. We gave up on the 13th hole. Not enough carts, had to wait 20 minutes for a cart, lucky we were early. The course was really good, greens played really fast. Other than having to wait 5-10 minutes on every hole, the cart situation, and not finishing the 18 holes I paid for...was a good day!
Great course
1st time on this course. Great layout can’t wait for next chance to play..
review
Coarse was fun to play, however the practice area was closed. David who helped me at check was NOT friendly and seemed annoyed to be working. I felt I was bothering him and wasting his time.whan asking questions.
