Stoneybrook East Golf Course
About
Located in Central Florida, Stoneybrook East Golf Course is a championship course that has all the signatures of classic Florida golf courses. Although traditional in design there are some modern elements that lend to the overall challenge of the course. The large fairways are naturally tree-lined and the generous greens are multi-tiered and undulating. The green are also immaculately kept. Rain check
Got rained out and because we used golf now .. couldn’t get a rain check. Got fenced and didn’t even finish 9 holes
Great conditions
Fist time playing here and I’ll be back. The course was in immaculate condition. Tee boxes lush, fairways excellent and greens mostly flawless. Although most of the holes were straightforward, many were narrow and a few on the back nine were a bit of a challenge. They have a very large pro shop and adjoins bar/restaurant. The carts were also in great condition. I think this course is great for all handicaps. Looking forward to my next visit. Just wish it were closer to me.
Great value
I haven’t played here in several years due to the conditions in the past, however I must say the course conditions have improved considerably. You can tell they are putting time and money into the course to keep it in good shape. Nice fairways and the greens are solid. And you can’t beat it for the price, considering what some of these Orlando courses are charging these days. I will definitely be playing this again soon!
Great transformation
This course used to have 1-2 days a year that it was in good shape… for the least few months I’ve been impressed and the clubhouse, carts good, etc are all really good as well. Keep up the good work.
Great Condition
I play at Stoneybrook as often as I can. Especially now when the course is in exceptional condition. The fairways, the greens, tea boxes is everything’s in great shape. The clubhouse is in great shape. I just wish that they offered more food options, besides hotdog and sausage sandwiches. But maybe they don’t get the business so they can’t bring in staff for it. But you can tell that they put a lot of money into the course cause it looks great.
Good course to play.
Stoneybrook is in best condition we have seen it in years. Greens a little slow but in good shape. Good value for the course fee.
Challenging tract
This course was in great shape. It has many tee boxes so you can play the best distance for your game. There are many challenging holes with forced carry on some of them.
Course in good shape
Enjoyed playing this course last Sunday , we played in 4 hours , only waiting on a few holes. Fairways and greens nice 👍

Great course. From entry with staff to all course conditions. 100% worth the money. Course was in great shape.
Well maintained, fair and solid
This is my local course, and it is currently in great condition. The fairways and greens are in excellent shape. Over the last couple of weeks I have made a point to mention how great of a job the maintenance crew has been doing. A few of the tee boxes are still a bit grown out, but it has not been a factor for me when getting off the tee.
The removal of trees on certain holes has improved the overall look and ambiance of the course. It does not really impact gameplay, but it definitely improves the visual appeal of several holes.
The clubhouse staff are terrific. Cole in particular is always pleasant to chat with. The food and alcohol are good, although they are a bit on the pricey side.
In my opinion, the course plays fair. The fairways are not overly tight, but many holes are lined with trees along the sides, which keeps you honest. Water comes into play on several holes, but for most golfers it should not be a major factor if you are playing smart.
Standout Holes
The par 5 fourth hole requires a straight tee shot to set up the hole properly. The par 5 eighth is very memorable, with a circular green that almost feels like an island, with water running along about sixty percent of it. The par 5 eleventh is another fun hole to play, and the recent tree removal has made it slightly more forgiving.
The thirteenth hole, a challenging par 4, requires accuracy with trees lining the left side, a road running along the right, and a bunker strategically placed to catch an errant shot.
The par 5 fourteenth can be reachable in two depending on the tee box placement, and the same can be said for a couple of the other par fives on the course.
The finishing eighteenth hole is a strong closing hole that requires a solid tee shot. If you are in the center or right center of the fairway, your approach shot will be played over water, which adds a bit of pressure to end the round.
Overall, Stoneybrook is a well maintained and enjoyable course that offers a fair challenge while still being fun to play regularly.
