Stoneybrook East Golf Course

Great course. From entry with staff to all course conditions. 100% worth the money. Course was in great shape.

This is my local course, and it is currently in great condition. The fairways and greens are in excellent shape. Over the last couple of weeks I have made a point to mention how great of a job the maintenance crew has been doing. A few of the tee boxes are still a bit grown out, but it has not been a factor for me when getting off the tee.

The removal of trees on certain holes has improved the overall look and ambiance of the course. It does not really impact gameplay, but it definitely improves the visual appeal of several holes.

The clubhouse staff are terrific. Cole in particular is always pleasant to chat with. The food and alcohol are good, although they are a bit on the pricey side.

In my opinion, the course plays fair. The fairways are not overly tight, but many holes are lined with trees along the sides, which keeps you honest. Water comes into play on several holes, but for most golfers it should not be a major factor if you are playing smart.

Standout Holes

The par 5 fourth hole requires a straight tee shot to set up the hole properly. The par 5 eighth is very memorable, with a circular green that almost feels like an island, with water running along about sixty percent of it. The par 5 eleventh is another fun hole to play, and the recent tree removal has made it slightly more forgiving.

The thirteenth hole, a challenging par 4, requires accuracy with trees lining the left side, a road running along the right, and a bunker strategically placed to catch an errant shot.

The par 5 fourteenth can be reachable in two depending on the tee box placement, and the same can be said for a couple of the other par fives on the course.

The finishing eighteenth hole is a strong closing hole that requires a solid tee shot. If you are in the center or right center of the fairway, your approach shot will be played over water, which adds a bit of pressure to end the round.

Overall, Stoneybrook is a well maintained and enjoyable course that offers a fair challenge while still being fun to play regularly.

I have playd many course in 20 years of traveling from Iceland and this one is in top 10 at the moment. I work as a greenkeeper and I think I know when courses are in good shape and I see there is a plan keeping it in best shape posseble. You can always find something you like to be better but if you see they are trying there best you be happy. I playd it day after a rain and it was a little wet in places but that is normal. I would highly recommend this course for anyone and I already have bought another teetime.

I played many courses in central Florida for under $60, this one has the best conditions, especially the fairways. If you play from the white tees, there will be some holes where you can't use driver, (hazards or narrow fairways) and I only drive about 220 yards. A lot of holes with water on left or right. All tee boxes excellent except for one. Not a wide open course, water and/or trees on both sides for some holes. A lot of fun, will come back soon.

The course is in phenomenal shape right now. Fairways are pristine, greens are rolling true, and the overall layout is a blast to play. It was wide open, which made for a quick and relaxing round. Honestly, this place is a hidden gem and deserves way more recognition than it gets.

At $85 including a small bucket of balls for warmup, it wasn't inexpensive, but it's still peak season in Florida and many courses are charging far more.

I've played Stoneybrook East over the years and never seen the fairways or greens in better shape. The greens weren't as fast as I'd like, but they rolled well. Now, if people would only repair their pitchmarks, they'd be even better.

The two gentlemen I've dealt with in the pro shop have always been fast and friendly, and the grass range (a plus) is in great condition, too.

We teed off at 0840 and never had anyone in front of or behind us. It was a very enjoyable round. The money being put into Stoneybrook is paying off.

Price point is perfect for Stoneybrook.

Course was in good shape everywhere.

Pace of play was outstanding and Clubhouse personnel were first rate.

Getting this course on a Hot Deal is the best value you can get in the Orlando area.

The course condition was better than expected but the pace was too slow....

The course is in excellent condition. The layout is really fair until the last three holes then it gets a little tough but still fair. Nice driving range and practice area. Would definitely recommend this course.
